RP Rant Thread X3

I really want to join something...different. As in, a roleplay that isn't about wolves, warrior cats (I'm in two already o_O), teenage romance, vampires, werewolves, etc. And of course, I can't find one. T_T

Well I just started a mythical Humanoid RP, you can join if you want ^^ It's called Wings Of Darkness and I forgot to give some people on ehre the link when they asked T.T Damn.

I've been reading around this topic for a while now and i have to say...i recognize allot of these problems..Rp's that just..die out..or are left behind. But...!....All i can say is..once you found a perfect Rp buddy you'll have problems to stop rp-ing xD

I recently made my 8800 post in an rp. We started this last year December and are still going, our characters really have grown. Sometimes we write really short replies, when we are in school or have no time to reply, just before work orso...But always more then just one sentence...And when we really have time we write more then 2 word pages.

Feels good to have an Rp that actually lasts and is fun to reread.

Another thing that bothers me: Incorrect use of the language..I know, my English aint perfect, it's not my mother language but if you are from America or England, or speak proper and good enough English then please...please write good too xD. I absolutely hate it when i outsmart people from those countries with my English..I mean..Hello?, you are from that country, why don`t you speak and write your own language the way you are supposed to?

Sam: Goes to jump off cliff become son is dead.
Me: Your son is with Jane and he is safe.
Sam: Gets closer to cliff tear pouring down.
Jim: Sam no! Your son is with Jane by camp.
Sam: Has a feeling her son is alive, so turns around.
Me: ((Please read posts above you Sam))
Sam: Keeps running. Sees son. "Your okay!"

She never reads the posts before her and this is a warrior's RP....What the heck! Can cats even cry! I've warned her for the 2nd time. the rules are, 3 stikes and ur out.

All animals can "cry." xD Though it's not really crying, it's a function used to clear sand and dirt away from the eye.

Ahh I hate it when I have lots of time off to roleplay and no reply's and then the next day I have no time at all and everyone reply's! It's so annoying and frustrating :3

Ugh, I'm on this RP on this other site, and it's just all the same. xD I suggested we mix it up a little, since it's a Romance RP.
Guess what everyone starts doing?

Cheating on each other, that's it.
Like that's the only thing that can go wrong in a relationship. xD
There are other things that can go bad in relationships.
Someone might be too jealous and possessive, constantly demanding to know where the other person is, banning them from hanging around someone they think is trying to steal their gf/bf.
They could be emotionally distant or they could be loosing interest in their partner.
They could be physically and emotionally abusive.
They could be dating them for all the wrong reasons.

The list goes on, but these people can only think about cheating on each other. xD

it's kind of funny, a heard of cheaters.

It bugs me when you have to bump your last post up several times so that the person who is interacting with your character can see it. I'm just bored now, maybe I should just leave those characters alone in the dust...
