Missingdawn gave a small, forced smile, as she laid her head down. "Don't try to fix me, Fogstorm. I'm not broken." She rasped. "It's just like my dream." She chuckled a bit. She closed her eyes in pain, sinking her claws into the soft ground below her.

Fogstorm heard his apprentice but it didn't comprehend. He stared down at Missingdawn as she spoke. She was more than a medicine cat of the opposing Clan. She was the closest thing he had to a friend. He felt his eyes watering up and sighed.

Rowanclaw sprinted up the hill to where the cats were gathered. He ran over to cotton bird in an instant and fretted over. " r yo alright? Where's missingdawn? What happened?!?!" He asked questions pouring out of his mouth. Rowanclaw was distressed as he looked around. Cats lay limp and there were paw prints of dogs. He sighed.
