The white mare took a few steps towards her stallion, but still stayed ta a distance. She bent her head down to graze, standing in front of her filly. She occasionally glanced up at Tarkan, but she trusted him slightly, and knew he had no reason to harm the filly, considering that it was his, and was perfectly healthy. She raised her head again, and gently nudged Lullaby to her side, letting her see her father.

Lullaby looked inquisitively at Tarkan, not sure what to make of the stallion. She took a tiny step forward, waiting for her mother to nudge her back, but she didn't. "W-who are you?" She asked quietly. She had never seen him, or any other stallion before, being newborn, and he intimidated her.

Snowflake nickered loudly for a stallion. She wanted, no needed, to be rid of her heat scent. She nickered again, then waited for her call to be awensered.

Leaf saw that one of the stallions had won. She nickered at the elder stallion, who had won. She trotted over and stood in front of him.

Tallahassee neighed in fear as she trotted away from her spot. A small bird had flown so close to her face, to her eyes that she was so spooked by it. "Dumb birds, I would love to step on them until their eyes popped out of their little, bitty heads." she grunted and shook her head along with her mane before leaving the small area in a slow, smooth canter. She had decided it was better to graze somewhere else, now that her spot was ruined by a small flock of birds. "I hope the winter freezes their tails off and teaches them not to spook a mare.."

Tallahassee flared her nostrils and slowed down to a trot and then to a very, very slow walk. "I need to find a shady spot...I'm not feeling the love of spring..." she whispered to herself before kicking one of her hind legs up and twisting her head back to scratch the side of her neck with her hoof. Horse flies can be a butt...nipping and taking me for a buffet of meat and blood. Tallahassee lowered her head to the ground and sniffed the grass curiously and brushed her nose against the spring, green grass. The brindle mare shifted to the side and tensed her muscles before taking a small nip at the grass and munching the herbs and spitting out the weeds.

Dabey lifted his head as another mare approached him, tossing his Tobiano head he whinnied out a hello to her. "What is a pretty like you doing out alone." He bobbed his head, inviting her over to stand with him and Canyon. He wouldn't leave the prize mare alone, he was not going to let her get snaked

Cusick noticed another mare step towards the winner. He snorted in anger and frustration then galloped off, leaving them all behind. He ran until his feet ached, then stopped at a nearby pool of water and drank. His coat was back to its glossy self.
