These creatures resemble the foo dogs well know in the East. They have a robust, reptile like body (think comodo dragon and crocodile) with skales and skin folds. They have short and strong necks, a small head, front legs wide apart with a solid chest. They can have different types of tails from reptile to lion-like, bobtails and tailless variations are also present, but rare. Both males and females can have manes. Other mutations, such as horns, tusks, feathered legs, extra limbs and the like can happen.
They will always have a stripe of hair that is running along their back in the opposite direction then the rest of their fur.

Size varies betveen that of a shetland pony and a buffalo/rhinoceros. They are surprisingly quick, reaching a 80-100 Km/hour speed, mostly using their tails to ballance. This is why the bob/tailless versions are soo rare.

Their diet consists of fruit, eggs, and anything they can hunt down. They are quite fond of honey. Mosty they are content with the offerings they receive from humans.
