Cherrykit looked up at Jaykit and erupted into another stage of loud coughing as he tried to conceal his sickness but just couldn't, "momma!" He yowled as loud as he could, voice scratching as he did so, he tried to stay brave, "dad!"

Rain heard the kit.She remembered her friend who healed cats.She grabbed catmint."Eat this."

Cherrykit began to chew the catmint but still coughed even more, he winced and squinted his eyes as he sounded, "oooooohhhh!" Loudly and gasped in pain

Rain licked Cherrykit's head."Its ok."

"How?"Patchpaw asked

"I'm the daughter of Moonglow's sister," Falling Star replied.

"What's wrong with Cherrykit?" Brightshine questioned worriedly.

Frostpaw shivered as he lay down away from everyone else and coughed lightly, sitting a few foxlengths from the apprentice's den.

(If someone from the warrior's den that caught greencough didn't know and stayed in there then NightClan... Would probably be doomed if this was realistic)


Cherrykit looked up at his father, "what's wrong with me?!"

"Greencough.We must be careful or it will become black cough."Rain answered

"Wow!"Patchpaw mewed

Cherrykit gasped up at her in worry as around his eyes became wet, he didn't want so many cats crowding around him

"Don't tell anyone," Falling Star warned. "No one's supposed to know of my origins."

Brightshine gasped. He quickly nuzzled his son. "You'll be fine." He assured.
