Personality:

Echo is a go getter. She loves to pick fights if she can. Of course, she has secrets to hide and hides them well. Hidden under grizzled feathers, scarred eye and black heart she is a dedicated member of the group, and a loyal friend. If you can get past her thick exterior and her talons of course. However she has a soft spot for owlets.

History:

Echo was abandoned since she was the runt of the clutch. Her family pushed her from the nest as an owlet. Her mother was the one who gave her the large scar over her eye. The scratch didn't heal right and left a large lingering scar. She narrowly escaped and lived on her own for a long time. Being alone left her untrusting and wary to all. She then found the bad side and found them comforting.

History:

Talon was hatched half a year before his sister Echo in their families first clutch. Once Echo was born and rid of the family was attacked by the Dark Ones and only he escaped. The rest of eggs were destroyed by winged shadows. After wandering for a year, he found the good side and joined them. He still believes Echo is dead.

I perch in the highest branches of the tree, enjoying the slight breeze as it tugged at my feathers. Below me I watched with interest while the young owlets practiced branching. My head twitched back and forth switching from watching them to scanning the skies for anything really.
