Thank you all. I've been gone for quit some time and I am thankful that y'all were all respectful and didn't start an uproar with .Coyote.

.Coyote I think you shouldn't hate the hole breed just because you've meet the wrong ones. Just because their owners didn't teach them to fight doesn't mean that they are not a bad owner. Taking on a pit bull is a handful and you have to work with them and train them. Meaning socialize them with others from the start and a hole bunch of other things. Another thing Pit bulls are very protective dogs; whither it be they are protecting their owner, land, other dog, what ever they claim, etc. (Just like the Rottie or Chow and you have to also train with these dogs from the start.) With that being said you could have walked on land that those dogs claimed as theirs and it was protecting it's land and I bet you none of those dogs were trained with the proper care it should have. I am sorry your dog got the bad end of it. I know how it feels to have one of your dogs attacked and cut up real bad. I had a dog that died from other dogs jumping her while we were gone. Did I hate the dogs that did it? or their breed? I was very unhappy with them, you could even say outraged, and for a certain time period I didn't like them... But I did not hate them nor their breeds. Also let me say these dogs were not pits or any kind of bull dog. Any dog breed is capable of aggression. Just some more the others. So you have to give more effort and take more work with those breeds and not everyone is capable of doing so. That's were things go wrong.

Now I've also heard "oh well I know this one person who had a pit and they trained them right and one day it just turned on them..." That is unfortunate thing to have happen, but once more any dog is capable of doing such a thing. Why do they do it? It could be many reasons why that we do not see. I've meet many Pit bulls and bully breads. Majority were the sweetest dogs you could ever meet... In fact the only time I've had a Pit bull act anyway aggressive to me is when they were protecting something that was theirs to protect. One was when I was coming up a family member's land (that I don't see quite that often, so to the dogs I was a stranger) they were behind a fence just a growling and barking up a storm. Then I went inside and out the back door where they were at and it was two completely different dogs (far as temperament). I've had many more dogs that were not from "aggressive" breeds come at me in aggressive manor then I have a bully breed. So that just goes further more to show any dog is capable of aggression.

For disliking small breeds; I don't quite blame you. I myself don't care to much for smaller dogs, but I don't hate them or strongly dislike them. Most small dogs have what's called the "small dog syndrome." It is where small dog breeds think they are big as a Great Dane or tough as a Rottweiler. They can develop this on their own, but most of the time its due to the owner spoiling and treating the dog like a human child and not training the dog right. If anything you should dis-like the owner more then the dog.

Thank you all once more and apologize for being gone so long... I also want to share with you all that I will be revamping this club. I made this a long time ago and there is a lot of bad grammar and misspelling... The hole thing is just a mess. I will post a link to the new one as soon as I get it up and running. (: To all the new members you are accepted; I'll add you on the new one.

Edit;; @Joe Kerr - Just read your signature... I am sorry for your loss... :c He was a very beautiful dog.
