Grateful and relieved, Sparrowcatcher gently brushed his pelt against Bristlepelt's as he bent down to pick up the roots. As he did this, he froze, totally embarrassed.
"Uhm. Yeah, he's...over here." Without another word, Sparrowcatcher dashed off, leading Bristlepelt to the site of the badger. He leaped over a fallen tree then skidded to a halt. Less than a fox-length ahead the creature slept. It stirred when he drew near with a sharp grunt. But, instead of standing, it merely watched him. As if he knew Sparrowcatcher, and as if Sparrowcatcher had been seeing him before.

Fuzzytail fell down a hill and landed in a deep bramble thicket. "Help!"
