Christopher Storms
"So, you weren't even looking at us?" He said impatiently as the young man looked into the distance. It was a quick second and he wasn't even sure he noticed it, but it looked as if he were looking at the castle
... He narrowed his eyes and have a sharp, exaggerated sigh before almost violently elbowing Quinn. He meant to simply nudge her, but he was too 'excited'. He stared at the castle, a pained look in his eyes. Though he chose no side in the war, the king or his followers had done nothing for him.

::Ericson Jonathon Lee Jackson: 16 :: Single :: Powerless :: Coffee Shop Jamestown ::Eric unconciously leaned away from the boy. The response was instinctual and out of habit because Christopher was in no way being agressive towards him. The small change in his agitation was small but Eric began to grow uncomfortable. "I'm really sorry," he said, "Is there something I can do to make up for it?" Reposting for later...

Ivory was silent when he finally dropped her hand. In fact, she was a little worried about being around the boy. People would be after him. Is that really what he had said? She wondered if maybe she had heard him wrong. She had a feeling she didn't though. "I'm looking for..." She wasn't sure she could explain why she was looking for it, but hopefully he wouldn't ask. "Well, I need to find some information about my family." That's normal for people to do, right? What did they call it? "I'm interested in..." She paused trying to find the word. "Genealogy. Yeah, the genealogy of my family." She smiled, hoping it would distract him from thinking she was strange.

Quinn Leon l 18 l Necromancer l Jamestown
Quinn gasped sightly when she felt Christopher's elbow connect with her ribcage. When she glanced up at him, he was staring off into the distance, at the large stone fortress. He seemed agitated, and Quinn subcounciously did a quick scan of the room, pulling the fabric that his her back even tighter. "Its fine, I'm sure its nothing." She said with a strained smile.

Christopher Storms
"Quite right," Christopher said in an agitated voice. He was unsure himself whether he was lying or not. Even so, he didn't want to be somewhere there were palace guards or anything of the sort. "You're here alone?" He asked, sensing how uncomfortable he had just made everyone and still staring about. For some reason, he didn't know why, he was completely on edge.

::Ericson Jonathon Lee Jackson: 16 :: Single :: Powerless :: Coffee Shop Jamestown ::"I really am sorry," he mumbled in a pathetic attempt to get the boy to calm down. His agitation was too similar to other agitations against him. He coughed, trying to clear his dry throat and swallowed. "Yes. I am here alone..." He paused. "Is this some kind of alleyway ambush?" He wondered aloud fearfully.Reposting for later...

The boy looked back at Erik, wondering if he were truly scared. He let out a whole-hearted laugh before pulling out a chair at the table and taking a seat. "No, this isn't an ambush. I'm sorry I was rude." He thought for a moment, leaning back in the chair, though, careful not to tip it back. "Why would it be an ambush?"

"We aren't even in an alleyway." Quinn added helpfully, relaxing slightly. Even if this kid did try to do something, they outnumbered him. Also, he seemed pretty scared, so the chances of that happening were very low.

Chris turned his eyes to Quinn, it was an involuntary movement but it was there. He quickly looked away. The only reason he was here was because of her, the only reason he stayed (and it was not the coffee!) was because of her. She offered him something no one ever has. It was a chance, but at least it was something. He wondered idly if this boy knew of magik, or the dark powers that flowed through the two people in front of him. "Coffee, mostly." He said, faking a smile.

"The food isn't that bad, which is a plus." joked Quinn, shooting a glance at Christopher. It would be a good idea to keep the conversation light-hearted , she didn't want to risks gitatong the kid any more. God knows what would happen if he decided to call the gaurds down upon them. She had a dagger strapped to her thigh and knew how to use it, but really didn't want to get blood on her new clothes.
