- Skelfing Wolves
Skelfing wolves have a thirst for blood and fighting. They are exceptionally smart and enjoy the strategic aspect of war and hunting. Once you start a fight with a skelfing, you're almost sure to die (depends on the individual, of course). Skelfings are extremely smart and have a highly developed brain.
Skelfings are very rare hybrids of the average wolf and the dire lynx. However, two skelfings can mate together and produce another skelfing, so they are multiplying faster than they should be. They are much larger than an average wolf, with extremely big muscles and sharp fangs and claws. They can differ from look, as some are more wolf-like than others. Males have "manes" of fur around their neck and bigger muscles than females, who are sleek in comparison. The most common colour of fur in a skelfing is a sort of muted brown with grey undertones, but they come in a large variety of colours. They have ear tufts and sometimes have lynx spots on their fur.
Skelfings are killing machines, but they believe in fair fights. They will not go outside of their territory to kill, or kill an animal just for the fun of it. The more skelfings get hurt, the less they feel it. They get an immense rush of adrenaline when fighting which covers up the pain. The "high" lasts a little while after the fight is over, but it will stop rather suddenly, and the pain from their injuries will kick in.
There is no hierarchy and all pack members are treated equally, males and females alike. However, females hunt more than males, and malesscare off intruders and participate in fighting games. Females then teach their cubs how to hunt, while males teach their cubs how to fight. It is not uncommon for mates to stay together for life.
The fighting games previously mentioned usually take place once a week. Males try to show off their strength and superiority by fighting other males in a sort of tournament. They will not kill, but injuries can get rather bad for those who are weak. Females can also participate to show their strengths, but most of the time, they simply watch.
Skelfings live on a non-existing planet much like the Earth, in a cold, tundra-like land with long, bitter cold winters and short, somewhat-warm summers. Because of this, skelfings shed and re-grow their coat when summer is arriving and when summer is over.
There are many birch trees in this land, but most of all there are mighty forests almost all composed of evergreens. There are many cliffs and rocky areas, and in the southern part of the land (the warmer part) is bordered by an ocean. The shores of the ocean are covered in greyish white sand which comes from the large cliffs overlooking it.
How To Adopt
Adopters will either be randomly picked from those with a properly filled out form, or picked from someone with the best form. Further instructions will be posted on the page of the skelfing you wish to adopt.

Once you adopt a skelfing, they are your character. C: I'd really like if you got art of them or something. <3
Keep in mind that you may not use skelfings as your own species, and you may not use the lines in any way, or alter my image in any way.
This is a fun little project until I'm able to work on my shop orders again. :3
