Jaypaw padded out of the apprentice den to see the kit playing in the snow. She padded over to the kit and rolled around in the snow. "Do you wanna build a snowman play?" She asked.

"Yeah!" Magpiekit said.

Jaypaw rolled the snow between her paws like moss, and made a small snowball. She tossed it up, but it soon splattered onto the ground, leaving a smaller ball.

Magpiekit rolled some snow into a snowball, then tossed it.


Suntree watched Magpiekit and Jaypaw.

Jaypaw laughed and leaped into the air to catch it, but it splattered on her whole muzzle.

"Snowballs aren't like moss balls!" Magpiekit said.
