Grinning Hounds
The Species
African grinning hounds are named so because of their jaws, which hinge further back than usual canines. Males sport stiff manes, which are displayed as symbols of dominance, and females have long, silky fur on their tails which they use to clean dens. Coat coloration gets more diverse every year, but there are two general varieties of hounds: wild and domestic.
Welcome to our relaunch! I was pretty ashamed of the old lines, and they were difficult to navigate, so I did away with them. Now we're back~! As with most adoptables, if you'd like to own a grinning hound, find one that isn't owned and apply for it. We'll set some ground rules so that things go smoothly.
