The young stallion snorts as he trots with a few fellow bachelors, most were much bigger than himself and a lot older, but he wasn't scared of them, he was a very confident stud even though he was so young. Sky whinnies and playfully nips at a bachelor that was next to him, making the older stallion snort and pin his ears at the younger stallion, stopping his playfulness on the spot.

Since she doesn't have a herd, she could wonder around like most other lone mares do, but she wasn't really one to wonder, so she just says in a single area and just grazes. Essence yawns a little and shakes out her pure white pelt, dislodging bugs and a bird that had landed on her back. The mare looks around and then drops her head to graze, ripping up the sweet grass hungrily, not really caring wither or not a stallion tried to snake her away, she actually hopes one does since she prefers to be in a herd instead of alone.

She grazes peacefully under a tree near the center of the large valley that the many herds call home. A few stallions have attempted to push her into their herds, but another stallion always appeared to challenge the other, which gave her the ability to slip away un-noticed. Rose flicks her ear as a fly starts buzzing around near it, making her lift her head to gaze around a bit before returning to her eating.

The young filly wonders around aimlessly, her mother was gone and her herd scattered to the wind. She lets out a pitiful whinny as she trots around, searching for someone from her original herd, maybe even her sire. The filly keeps whinnying and neighing, trotting around in a bit of panic. She approaches a few mares, but each one chases her off not wanting to care for someone else's foal while they have their own to care for, especially since Ella was a yearling now and not some needy newborn. Estella sighs and walks around the valley, she was old enough to graze and fend for herself, but she needs the protection of a herd and a loving mother to teach her how to survive without her, her own mother hadn't been able to teach her much before the humans came and took her so Ella was still naive in the ways of the herd.
