Foxflame didn't respond to Jay's wing's narrowed eyes. "I was wondering why your scent was by the Echoclan border? And don't try to tell me you were gathering herbs. I smelled the coltsfoot, yes," he mewed. "But I also smelled the Echoclan apprentice from yesterday." Foxflame wrapped his fluffy red tail around his paws and waited.

"If I go!" She purred behind her back and padded out of the camp. She breathed in the fresh air and ran to her part of the forest, her pelttingling with suprisre and excitement that hasn't left yet. She bounced to camp, smiling.

Frostpaw mewled as the warrior licked her ear. She was so nice. Why did her clan always scold Moon Clan for being dirty, rude, and obnoxious? She gazed after the cat as she left, and looked to Echostar. "What was that all about?" She asked, flicking her tail.

"She must've been hunting near the border," he growled, and then added "I'll be sure to tell her to respect the borders at the gathering tonight." And then, Jay's Wing whipped his head around in FoxFlame's face, "And you don't talk about your clanmates behind your back." He snapped, referring to when FoxFlame had said 'Don't let Jay's Wing see you.' Suddenly, Jay's Wing clamped his jaw, and shifted his weight. "Please leave." {Before any of you ask, Jay's Wing can read peoples minds, and enter their dreams. There is more info on the front page. Anyway, FoxFlame has to be clueless on how Jay knew. Because no one else knows besides Moonstar.}

"It was amazing!" She mewed, her eyes growing big.

Foxflame knew that wasn't the real answer, as he had sensed the scents mingling and excited, and that the border had been crossed. Jay's wing was definitely hiding something. He wondered if he should tell Moonstar about it. "I don't talk about my clanmates behind their back!" he protested. Frustrated that Jay's wing kept telling him what to do and acting like he was the apprentice, but not sure how to bring it up without sounding mean or demanding, he added, "I'd really appreciate if you stopped being condescending towards me, Jay's wing."

Foxflame then turned to Goldenflower. "Want to grab something to eat and tell me about it?" he asked, eager to hear the story.

"I'll meet you out!" She purred. Goldenfeather turned to Jay's Wing.
"I dented you in the border." She smiled.
