Max fumbled around a minute and stated at her hand blankly. Then he slowly reached his own hand out and took hers, shaking it gently. "M-Max. Nice to meet y-you." He said. He have her a tiny hint of a smile, then pulled back.

"Oh, hey Cat!" she flashed another smile, not taking a moment to wonder how one of the most popular girls knew her, one of the nerds, name. Her eyes laying on the boy again, she asked, "What's your name? I'm Lindsey." She held her hand out for him to shake. "Lindsey with an e."

"Oh, I'm sorry," Nate smiled. He hated math on some days, but on others it was just regular for him. He got good grades in that class, but not like all 100 percents. He usually got an A.

"Okay, see you later," Justin waved. He picked up his board, planning to get a snack from the vending machine. He walked towards the vending machine casting a glance around. As he was very close to the vending machine, he saw a girl hit it, he smirked to himself. Girls. But then, he hurried forward to catch her as she fell backwards, a serious expression planted on his face. "You okay?" he asked as she fell into his arms.

"Well nice to meet you," Lindsey grinned. She was the overly-happy, friendly person, but she never got annoying. "What class do you have first? I have Science," she blinked joyfully.

Nate grinned and laughed, showing his pearly white teeth. "Well, um, class starts in a few, I got to get my schedule. See you later?" he flashed yet another smile, his dimples noticeable.

She smiled as her neighbor said yes and she headed back into the hall, heading to her locker to grab her bag.
