Foxflame tried to suppress a "mrrow" of laughter. Poor apprentice, he thought, shaking his head with a smile. He knew exactly where she was now, due to her fear scent and her most recent answer. He crawled to the spot on his side of the border and sat up. "Oh yes you're right," he said with mock thoughtfulness. "It really is none of my business if an enemy cat is close to the border. My mistake," he mewed, dipping his head with a grin.

Jay's Wing wrinkled his nose, the she cat smelled of EchoClan. The stench was.. alluring? Licking a paw and drawing it over his ear, he watched them intently. Walking out from the bushes, Jay's Wing spoke in a harsh tone "FoxFlame, I'll take care of this. I'll escort her back to her clan. Next time, instead of socializing, report intruders to the clan." Not really giving Frostpaw a choice, he jerked his head where she walked from.

Frostpaw mewled. "I'm sorry... I've only been outside of camp a couple of times, and got carried away," she said, her tail curling with embarrassment. Her eyes flicked toward the newcomer. I'm in so much trouble, she thought. She narrowed her eyes at him. He was staring into space with deep blue eyes...

Jay's Wing twitched his ears, he heard the she cat, but didn't respond. Whisking around, he faced FoxFlame "Moonstar wouldn't appreciate you not informing her about an intruder, correct?" He hissed, his fur starting to bristle. "Come, I'll take you home." His tone was softer, and less lethal.

Foxflame narrowed his eyes, in an unusual feeling of impatience. "I would have reported her to Moonstar, if this cat had actually intruded." He didn't appreciate the apprentice trying to act superior. He turned to Frostpaw. "I suppose I had better be off then," he said, his tone lighter. "Nice meeting you." He waved his thick red tail and disappeared into the bushes.

Moonstar got to her paws, shaking out her pelt. "I'm going to check the borders." She padded out of the bland camp, her tail lashing in annoyance. She padded through the forest clearing then emerged from the bushes near the arguing cats. "Hello." She narrowed her eyes, looking over them all. "Foxflame, come back here."
