Storyline: On an island called Utrean Isles, there are beings not normal there. There are humans, but yet there are other beasts who roam this place, strange, paranormal beasts that normal humans fear. There are normal citizens, Supernaturals-see list below, and Hunters-see list below after Supernaturals. This island has different parts, and if I took an important name, then it is purely coincidental and these names come from my own creativity.
Time setting: This is set in the medieval ages, so all of the weapons are listed below:
*Swords-village people hold these, but not famers. This weapon is held by every member of the Hunters
*Spears-Same as swords
*Torches-Villagers and farmers use these only to burn any unwanted Supernatural
*knives-Game hunters, villagers, and farmers use these. The Hunters always have one on a string around their neck.
*Claws/Teeth/Tail-Supernaturals use these only. Mermaids do not because they do not possess claws, teeth, and using their tail is useless.
*Pitchforks-These weapons are commonly used by farmers and occasionally, a villager would use them. No one else can or would resolve to such basic weaponry.
*Stakes-Used only by specifically Vampire Hunters. They are useless on anything else
*Garlic cloves-see Stakes
*Crossbow-Used to kill any Supernatural efficiently except Vampires.
*Bows & Arrows-Hunters of all types carry a composite bow, and the shabby, long bows are held by villagers. Hunting Bows are carried by game hunters.
Setting and Terrain(look at map):

In the Dark Forest, it is shadowy and consists of faeries, mermaids, Manticores, Demons, and no game hunters, and Angels are unable to cross into the Dark Forest. The Dark forest is filled with evil, vile creatures, and if you aren't a Manticore, Faery, Mermaid, or a Demon, you will be slaughtered by the inhabitants.
In the normal forest, there is every Supernatural. Game hunters roam and are often killed, Werewolves and Vampires marked territory; Werewolves get the lower forest and Vampires get the upper forest. Centaurs are in both parts. Faeries are everywhere as long as there is nature and forests. Mermaids are located in Mermaid Isles, which is where they learn to be dangerous, captive Mermaids aren't dangerous at all.
In the human settled areas, farms, villages, and little camps are set up everywhere. Supernatural Hunters are called to the village if there is a report of Supernatural activity in the area. Vampires are often burned in wood piles, and Werewolf pelts can be seen in marketplaces. The official currency is gold, silver, and bronze coins. The people who rule the Human side of the island are the Hunters, who took up leadership when there was no queen or king. Angels roam Human lands because the Humans love the Angels. Angels are the only creature co-existing with humans and humans are ok with it.
Half-breeds of any type are always hunted down by every species and them and there parents are killed for their crimes. If you want your character to be a half-breed, you must PM me about which types will be mixed. Demons and Angels are not compatible. I will tell you what abilities your creature has if they are a half-breed.
Here is a list of the Supernaturals found in the Utrean Isles:
Vampires
These fiends are blood drinkers and hunters of the night. They have the ability to inject someone with poison, which infects them. They also have the choice not to, which leaves the victim which was drank from paranoid and an insomniac for the rest of their lives. Vampires can read the mind of anyone but Vampire Hunters, Demons, Angels, and Manticores. Vampires and Werewolves are natural enemies. Vampires are easily killed by stakes, garlic cloves, but not anything else, unless it is soaked and poisoned with garlic juice. Vampires avoid the light, for it makes them weak and feeble, allowing Vampire Hunters to get an easy kill. At night, though, Vampires have superhuman speed, strength, and they can see perfectly in the dark. All of those abilities are weakened greatly when the sun is out. They live only on blood, no meat or leaves will sustain them. Pure-blooded Vampires aren't immune to poisons, nor can they shift into another creature.
Half-breeds are a different story. Vampires cannot be healed by normal herbs, but instead they must heal on their own, which is slower than a human's healing system, and in the sunlight, they don't heal at all.
Manticore
A Manticore is a lion, with a human head, and a scorpion tail. Males have wings, and females don't. Manticores are shifters, so they have a human form and an animal form. Manticores travel in packs of about 3-8 and they coexist with Demons. Manticores prowl the Dark Forest and prey on humans, large mammals, and strangely, Werewolves. They respect Vampires and Demons, but their natural enemy is an Angel, for Manticores are made purely of Darkness, and they are at the mercy of an Angel, just like Demons. Manticore Hunters have wiped out most of the Manticore population, leaving about 30 left. They can all be found in the Dark Forest and the Normal Forest. Manticores run like a lion, letting them climb trees with ease. At night, they see perfectly and they are a Werewolf's #1 enemy besides Werewolf Hunters. They cannot shift into any other creature, unless they are a half-breed, which is a different story.
Werewolf
Werewolves are different per gender. Male Werewolves walk on two legs in wolf form, with sharp claws, a hulking frame, razor-sharp teeth, and a growl that will chill your bones to the core. Female Werewolves look like normal wolves in their wolf form, except they run faster than Vampires and they are much more clever than a male Werewolf. Werewolves attack farmers' cattle and livestock. A Werewolf is hunted often for it's pelt and bones. Werewolves inhabit the lower forest and they are too afraid to enter the Dark Forest. Werewolves can only shift in a wolf form, so there must be a human and a wolf appearance. If you're a female, you can put in a real-life picture of a wolf. If you're male, you must give a worded description unless you find a photo of what your Werewolf looks like.
Demon
Demons are the monstrous beasts from who-knows-where and they are a threat to almost every creature(besides Angels and Demon Hunters). The Demons in their Demon Form have leathery pelts and rough bat wings. They can summon fire and spit lava. They have horns atop their head, but they are only for intimidation. They resemble stereotypical gremlins, but they hang out in the Dark Forest. Demons travel with Manticores, or alone. Demon Hunters are always on a mission to kill Demons because of the frequency of the attacks. Demons eat not meat, not blood, but someone's emotions. Demons sink their fangs into a human or animal and when they're done, the human or animal goes into a deep depression and they soon go insane. Demons can also take on the body of a human by entering the walls of the person's mind and then the Demon 'possesses' the creature. Demons cannot be healed by any human's herbs, they have to go to Demon's Roost, where the Demon-kind reside when they do not hunt. Demons do not heal at all naturally. They either sap all of someone's life force, or they go to Demon's Roost, which is deep in human territory.
Faerie
Faerie-also spelled Fairy-are magical people with Fairy wings. They hover, and they have special connections to plants. Some Faeries can turn dark, though, and use their powers to light villages on fire, so the Faerie Hunters are determined to kill every Faerie, dark or not. Faeries do not shift, unless they're half breeds. Faeries have beautiful voices, and can lure humans to a Faerie if the Faerie sings or whistles. Birds and other peaceful animals are attracted to a Faerie as well. If the Faerie is dark, then they will be in the Dark Forest and they will lure humans to their deaths. Both types of Faeries have claw-like nails and they can manipulate the plants around them. They can also heal any disease, and they are immune to poisons. They heal really fast, unless they are hit in a special spot on the back of the neck that damages their healing powers eternally. If hit hard enough there, the Faerie will never heal again and they will forever seem in a daze. Faerie Hunters use this to their advantage.
Centaur
Centaurs are people with the torso of a human, but from the waist down, they are the body of a horse. They roam the forest with bows and arrows. Except from the horse body, they are exactly like a human. They normally wear helmets on their heads, but they're not wanted in human villages. Centaur camps are dangerous to enter, because Centaurs travel in groups of 10-30. Centaur Hunters always carry crossbows, to get an advantage from a distance. Centaurs cannot be half breeds at all, it isn't an available choice and they can shift into an animal form; which turns them from a human to a human with a horse body.
Mermaids/Mermen
Mermaids are people who are half-fish and half-human. Their diet is fish, human meat, and on rare occasions: plants. They cannot eat anything else without getting deathly ill. They heal abnormally fast, they can breathe underwater, and they use their voices like a Siren would. They lure people to their deaths underwater. Mermaid Hunters use harpoons to impale and reel in a Mermaid/Merman. Mermaid point is where the majority of the Merfolk population is. Others stray around exile islands, or just off the coast to lure some poor human to his death underwater. Merfolk cannot shift to any other form.
Angel
Angels are the most beautiful creatures and they coexist with humans. They have angelic wings and they carry staffs of light to kill any creature of Darkness. There is no Angel Hunter, there is no need for them because Angels have never been a threat to humans. Angels take a vow of silence when they are young-with the proper training-and they use telepathy to communicate between themselves. They eat fruits only, they drink only the cleanest of water, and they are perfect swordsmen. They are immune to any poison, and they can fly. They have normal healing systems, and if their wings get shredded or 'clipped'(A ceremony which an Angel revokes their powers and ritualistically they cut off their wings and they are normal humans.) then the wings don't come back. They have perfect voices, perfect facial features, but they are not 'perfect characters'.
If you have a suggestion for a new creature or if you want to add one creature that isn't listed, PM me, this happens more than you would think.
Here are the Human Characters:
Normal Citizens:
Famers- Farmers stay on the outskirts of towns and they grow stuff and raise livestock. They use pitchforks and torches as defense. They can have pets(Dog, cat, reptilian, or rodents only).
Villagers: These people live in a village, they can have a career-blacksmith, courier, pet seller, merchant, or they can be a healer- or they can be jobless, orphaned, a runaway, homeless, or just have nowhere to go, and have nothing to do but steal. Their weapons are torches, swords, spears, bows and arrows, and knives. If they are homeless they only get a knife. They can have a pet cat, lizard or rodent, but no dogs.
Travelers: these people travel from major town to major town in search to travel, sell, or just to explore. Their weapons are a knife, a sword, and a long bow & arrows. They cannot have a pet
Game Hunters: These people go into forests to kill forest prey and bring some back to sell or eat. They do not hunt supernaturals. They can fish, but it can't be the only thing they do. They can have 2 hunting dogs as pets
Hunters(uniform must be in appearance, they cannot have pets)-
Vampire Hunter: (Uniform)-A long black Trench-coat with slick black boots and a knife dangling by a string around their neck. They kill specifically Vampires only, unless they are a Hunter who hunts two types of creatures. If they are a Vampire Hunter, they carry a bag of crushed garlic cloves, a stake, and a bow and arrows soaked in garlic.
Werewolf Hunter: (Uniform)-A deep brown overcoat with fur moccasins and a knife around the neck. A Werewolf Hunter must be recognized by a tattoo of a diagonal slash across the left eye. They kill Werewolves, so they carry a crossbow and a lot of bolts.
Faerie Hunter: A deep, forest green overcoat with green sandals. They hunt Faeries with spears and they too have a knife around their neck.
Merfolk Hunter: Deep, oceanic blue trench coat that is waterproof, a knife around the neck, and they use harpoons to kill Merfolk.
Manticore Hunter: A long, russet colored armor, they carry spears, swords around their waist, and a knife around their neck.
Demon Hunter: Black armor with golden studs and they carry Crossbows, swords, and they take Angels with them when hunting Demons
Centaur Hunter: Composite bow & arrows, with a deep green helm, a light green smock, and light green pants. They look oddly like Robin Hood.
