Ashpad nodded, heat rising to his face a little. "I'll take the lead then," he meowed simply. Starting off at a brisk pace, he then proceeded forward into a quick run, looking back every few moments or so to make sure Dreampaw was still behind him.

When they reached it, Ashpaw stopped. The scent of hare caught his nose. Carefully scanning the area, he caught sight of it, and slid into a stalking position. Inching his way over to it, the tom skillfully pounced, and bit onto it's neck, killing it.

D R E A M P A W grinned. "Great catch!" she said, keeping her voice low in case she scared any prey nearby. She heard a bit of scuffling and immediately broke into a crouch. She padded around a tree lightly to discover a vole. She pounced quickly before it could realize she was there and dispatched it with a snap of it's neck.

Ashpaw smiled, as he watched Dreampaw come back with the vole. "Great catch!" He whispered, touching his tail to her shoulder. "Let's loom around some more!"

Ashpaw flicked his ears and padded on, after burying his rabbit quickly. Looking around, as he padded, he couldn't help but catch a few secret glances at the female behind him, as the light dappled her pretty pelt. He stopped at a little stream ahead of him. Dipping his paws in, he shivered, as it was cold. "Want to stop here for a bit?"
