I would love to help out with all the new-comers to Chickensmoothie the best I can, it seems like it would be fun to teach my knowledge of what I'm applying for!

How often do you get on CS?:
I try my best to check everyday on my pets and trade offers, but sometimes school and chores keep me busy.

I would like to apply for role-playing, since I'm more used to that than most then other categories, but I do have basic knowledge of BB Code.

How long do you typically spend on CS each day you get on?:
If I get on I spend up to an hour and a half each time, and I might log on more than once in the same day.

I will always be polite to someone, and I try my best to help them to the full extent of my knowledge.

Role-play Example:
My hair whipped behind me as the wind passed me, my footsteps thumping loudly against the dead and crunchy leaves of the chilly fall air. Moonlight shine from the trees like a flash-light, it's silver rays cast upon the ground and my swiftly moving form. I slipped through the tall trees silently, trying to make a break for the clearing I always go to with my friends when I find the time to creep out my bedroom window in the dead of the night. This small open field of dry grass is a soft sanctuary for the people I have come to think of as the people closest to me. My parents had never known that I sneak out almost once a week or more to see these friends, and if they did, I would surely be punished. I slowed my jog as my legs began to ache from the over use and my black long hair finally settled happily on my shoulders of my black tank-top, dark blue jeans covering my legs as my breath came out in panting breathes, turning to fog in the chilly night air that seemed not to bug me even though I wasn't supplied with the luxury of a soft coat, that of which I didn't want. A welcome call sounded upon my arrival to the moon-lit open field, the sky above us like a black blanket, small stars littered the black expanse with a large full-moon watching us in the field. A small smile graced my freckled face as my light grey eyes traveled the near empty field that only one or two of which my friends had come, all still waiting patiently for the others. Here it was safe to talk between us, without having to worry about eaves droppers or adults that would snoop into our personal topics, and we didn't have to worry about one of our friends going behind our backs. Here it was free, speak of what we will with no consequences, no rules, and nothing to worry about. Here we could be ourselves.

I pushed against the wind, leaning all my strength towards the storm. When would the ice, the cold, the pain end? My fur was crusted with chilling snow, stiff with ice. I could barely see my own numb paws in front of me. I stepped forward and my paws sunk into the icy powder. I clenched my teeth as the ice in between my paws dug in, unbearably painful. This storm was like no other. My feathers were frozen together, my wings unable to spread. Then, my heart skipped. A glow, a faint glow in the distance. Because I love helping people, I frequent the comfort corner, and actually I've been stalking this thread for a while, today is actually my cs birthday. I tried a while ago, but for some reason the mod didn't reply, so I figured I'd just wait until now.

I will give out further orders later." he mewed dipping his head as a sign of respect to his whole clan, and stepped down to find morningrose, he needed to discuss plans with her, his new deputy. He honestly still couldn't believe it, but there was no other cat he wanted leading at his side. She was extraordinary, always had been, and always would be. That's why he had loved her for so long, even when others hadn't seen the many special, amazing things about her, he had. "Flameheart, leopardheart, fallenleaves, and morningrose can you come to my den we need to discuss plans." he mewed and signaling with his tail, gesturing him to follow him into the den.
When he went in, he froze for a moment, nervous, but he shook it off as battle jitters, he may have gave in to the cat inside him, but he was also caring and soft. Could he do this? "Of course I can, I am ready for anything." he growled to himself, and returned to full on battle mode.

Why should you be able to adopt a newbie?:
I think that I should be able to adopt a newbie because I am a responsible, knowledgable, active CS member who enjoys helping people out and overall just making people feel welcome. I’m almost always on Chicken Smoothie, and I really want to help newbies fit in and feel comfortable/welcome.
Like everyone, I was a newbie once, and it can be a frustrating experience. Older members are constantly trying to take advantage of the newer players, and I feel that is wrong. I would like to be able to let newbies know that not all older CS members are like that, but at the same time, protect them and educate them about these types of people. One of the first things that really got me hooked on this site were the people on it. Making friends is a really important thing on this site, and I would love to able to befriend a brand new player to really help them get into the site and just have a great time!
All in all, I think that I would be a very effective guide and would enjoy doing it.
How often do you get on CS?:
I usually go on CS every day unless there is a certain event taking place. (eg birthdays, holidays, vacations etc)
Which categories would you like to apply for?:
I would like to apply for General Helper, Rarities, and Rares List.
Of all my time spent here, I can honestly say that I take part in a wide variety of the sites activities. I enjoy roleplaying, drawing, trading, and everything else this site has to offer. I have a broad knowledge of most topics listed and I believe that I would be an excellent teacher.
As for rarities, the biggest thing I do on CS is trade. I absolutely love trading. I am a very experienced trader and know everything there is to it, especially when it comes to rarities. I know my stuff, and I am great at telling whether or not a certain trade is fair. I always check the dates, demand, rarity, and the position on the list.
Which brings me to the next category. The Rares List. Seeing as I own a few Rares List Pets, it basically means I have the lists etched into my brain. I know the Advent List and the Sept List off by heart, but the Main List I’m a little iffy on, because I haven’t gotten to that list until yesterday, but I do know the basics of it.
How long do you typically spend on CS each day you get on?:
My time spent on CS can vary from 5 minutes to all day depending on what’s going on the day of. I can never really guarantee or predict how long I will be on for, but I can tell you that it is usually for a long time.
Do you agree to be helpful and polite to your newbie at all times?:
Absolutely! My account is nearly dedicated to making people feel good, welcome, and like they matter (If you couldn’t tell c:). I adore making people smile, and I always make an effort to be polite with everybody. If I am canceling a trade, whether it be in the morning, or at night, I always make sure to include a message, no matter how tired I am.

Why should you be able to adopt a newbie?: Because my favourite thing is helping and making others feel happy. I have stood by a year for this moment and I cannot fail to help anyone, it is my next step on CS. I am very experienced in many aspects of online forum and game sites, I have been a proud member of Pokefarm for almost 4 years.
How often do you get on CS?: Everyday at the least. I am constantly checking up on CS every 30min or at the most every hour.

Why should you be able to adopt a newbie?:
I'm fluent in three languages; I've been on for a whole year and a month; I can be patient and kind, and understand on how to treat someone respectfully. I can easily think of solutions, and I know how to RP(extremely well) and trade very well. I can though get annoyed sometimes if I've explained something a lot of times; though this usually doesn't happen until I've reached the limit of telling someone twenty times e.t.c. I have a condition where I can sometimes be very awkward or shy around a person when I first meet them, I know this will be a downfall.

Everyday, usually after and before school, but NEVER during school.

Why should you be able to adopt a newbie?:
The honest answer is past experience. When I first joined CS back in 2010, I had no real idea what I was doing. I managed to trade away most of my pets soon after adopting them and was not able to get them back, and I couldn't use Oekaki very well, as I'd always used traditional art in the past. I wish someone could have been there to help me for those first few days- someone who could have been patient with me and helped me work out how uses the different forums and the Oekaki.

A few years have past since that time, though, and I'm now thriving within the wonderful world of the CS community! I have learned how to trade and trade fairly; I've learned how to use Oekaki, and I even have an Oekaki CV of all the artist jobs I have had/currently have; I've learned how to put pictures into adoptables and roleplay application forms, including links to the original source(s) within the pictures or in separate text; I have participated and have owned some roleplays in the past, varying from semi-literate, one-liners to highly literate, more-than-one-paragraph roleplays; I've participated in a few forum games in the past. For some people, I've even designed basic tutorials and 'how-tos' for different aspects of CS and also held off-site streams of my Oekaki work, showing them my techniques (NB~ I use join.me for my streams, which is very secure and I have not experienced any security issues thus far).

If I could help to teach somebody how to do all these things and get the best out of CS, I would take them through all of the above in a step-by-step fashion, breaking them down into simple chunks if required. I have proven myself to be a polite, calm individual and enjoy working with everyone I have come across on CS so far, young or old. I'd be both overjoyed and honoured with the opportunity to assist someone on CS!

How often do you get on CS?:
The honest answer is everyday- there are very few occasions where this is not the case (e.g. holidays). If this were the case, I'd let my newbie know as far in advance as possible, informing them of the exact times and dates of my absence.

The male kept pace with the female, but lagged behind her slightly out of nerves. From previous experience, not all leaders looked kindly towards loners. Especially ones with such a lack of experience as he had. He wasn't a very accomplished fighter. Nor a hunter. The kind of individual most prides turned away, as he could prove a burden. None of the other prides had the resources to train him, or just simply didn't want to, and he'd been driven out of their territories on several occasions. Hopefully this pride would be different, but Lenka didn't know for sure. He knew he was naïve and he could get himself into trouble if caution was not exercised.
At least this female seemed pleasant, which boded well. She lacked the bitterness he'd seen in the other prides, so maybe he could fit in. "Thank you!" he chuffed in response to her first statement, smiling politely. His limbs quivered with excitement as they moved deeper into the territory. One step closer. When she asked him for his name, his playful grin returned. "Oh, sorry! Wasn't very polite of me to not introduce myself!" He nodded his head politely, before continuing. "The name's Lenka. Might I ask you for your name, ma'am?" He thought maybe addressing her in polite terms might mean he wouldn't get his tail ripped off just yet.

It varies depending on my workload, the average amount of time being two-three hours. There may be rare instances where I might not be able to make it on for that long, but if this was the case, I'd let my newbie know in advance as much as possible.

Yes, I do. It's very important to me to leave people with a good impression of myself, so I will be as polite and as helpful as I possibly can.

  I've been active on CS since 2010. I have experience with helping both newer and older players because my inbox is always open to anyone who needs help. Helping, in fact, is something I do very passionately. I've helped with BBCode many times in the past. I host an adoption center, along with rare giveaways almost daily and monthly list pet giveaways. My experience with helping & teaching people stretches outside of CS, where I have learned to be patient and as helpful as possible by tutoring math to people both my own age and younger.
  Aside from past experience, I am qualified to adopt a newbie because I am passionate about CS and thoroughly enjoy being a member of the CS community. Why should you be able to adopt a newbie?: I am kind, friendly and always willing to help others- there was a time when I was a newbie and I filled in a form to be helped on this thread almost two years ago now! I know a lot about Chicken Smoothie and have gotten to know the site very well over the three years I have been a member.
How often do you get on CS?: On weekdays I get onto Chicken Smoothie between 5.30pm - 23.30pm GMT, and on weekends I'm on and off pretty much all day. But I'm leaving school for summer on July 23rd, so I'll be much more active for seven weeks c:

Neva growled with a distinct harshness to her tone- the lioness, although she had an airy nature about her wits, she knew that there was bad blood between her father and the Outlands pride. Since she discovered that the two sides were teetering against the possibilities of war to see who was more deserving of the pride-lands- Neva tried to keep herself out of it for as much as she could stress it.

Neva was quite skinny, for the amount she was permitted to eat and hunt being the princess- she never ate as much as she was allowed, or went over. Eating maybe an antelope calf and a quarter of an elderly zebra, which she would share with her younger siblings and cubs of the pride.
"If you think you'll get away with this, then you are very wrong! My father will come looking for me, and as soon as he finds me; you'll be at the tippity-top of his revenge list. If you're doing this to be a better rank in your stupid Outlander pride, you'll get nothing from it! I may be the heir, but my father won't be dying for a very long time and my mother or father would be a better prize for a rank-up reward than me!"

She admitted that she was exaggerating a little when she mentioned the King's 'revenge list', but she was just trying to achieve the male's anxiety so he would take her back. When he nipped at her heels, she roared angrily and kicked a back leg out to try and whack his nose so he would be stunned and she could run away- but she missed and teetered around as she lost her balance, falling onto the dusty terrain.
"I refuse to be your hostage! If you don't take me back... I'll... I'll roar for my whole pride!" She threatened, although she didn't sound very intimidating. Being a female- he probably just saw her as a weak mouse between his sharp claws, but she was strong-willed. Neva would always struggle.

Why should you be able to adopt a newbie?:
I should be able to adopt a newbie because I am very helpful. I have had a lot of people pm me for help before about thing on the site like the store, trades, etc. I am also very patient so I would be a good person to help teach newbies how to use the site and about the things you can do on the site. Another reason is because I am very calm, caring and forgiving. I forgive easily depending on what happened but normally its nothing major, I care about everything and everyone not just myself, I will not scream/yell at the newbie through PM/trades if they send me a bad trade or accidently do something wrong. One more reason is because I pretty much so know how to use everything on the site. This is why I think i should get to adopt a newbie.

Everday as much as possible! (Which is a lot after school hours) I will be on a lot more since I get out of school soon! xD

Why should you be able to adopt a newbie?: Chicken Smoothie is a wonderful place, made possible with all these wonderful members. Without these members, CS couldn't be what it is today or what it will be tomorrow. I find a joy in CS I find in few other places, and newbies should be able to have this joy as well. I want to make sure that CS will always be like it is now, and so I want help share that joy and train a newbie that will always treasure CS. I know many newbies who didn't have help and had trouble adjusting to CS and never really got any less awkward and so I want to help newbies so that they don't feel the same awkwardness for too long.

Why should you be able to adopt a newbie?:
I have been on CS for several years now and I know all the rules, ropes, pitfalls and tricks of this website. I will be able to pass this knowledge to the newbie that still has allot to learn and guide them so that they won't fall for tricks that I, and many other new now older players, have fallen for. I also consider myself very patient with people as I have had many different experiences with many different people already on this website.
How often do you get on CS?:
I usually get 5+ hours every day on week days unless I have some sort of big event, competition, or exam coming up. Plus the occasional mood-swings I have where I just want to be alone for a day. On week-ends I will be on at the minimum 1 hour and at the maximum about 4. I am very busy during those days...

Why should you be able to adopt a newbie?: I don't quite know what to write here, but I think basically because I believe that I meet all the requirements and I generally like helping people find their way around CS.
Why do you want to?: As I said before, I really like helping people and I think this is just the right place to do so.
Do you have basic knowledge of rarities?: Yes. I might not be the best with huge quantity trades or all the different gaps within the rares list, but I'm gradually getting better at these things, too.

Why should you be able to adopt a newbie?: Well, I've been told a lot that I'm helpful and nice, and I've been on on Chicken Smoothie since September 4th, 2012. Also, I enjoy helping and I think it would be fun to show someone around the site.

How often do you get on CS?: I'm usually on almost everyday. Sometimes I take some breaks though. I recently moved to my dad's so I won't have internet for a few days. Right now I'm at my mom's so I should have internet for a couple weeks. After that I should be getting a new phone that has internet on it.

My eyes flutter open and I glance up at the brown wolf that stopped at my side. Behind him, the sun was rising above the shaggy trees. "What do you want Koda?" I sigh and he chuckles. "I was wondering if you wanna go huntin' with me?" He says with an excited spark in his eyes. I groan and flip over on my side. "I'm trying to sleep. Leave me alone..." I mumble and he gets in a playful pose. "Come on, please?!" He says as he wags his tail and pokes me with his nose. "No...Go away..." I grumble, already half asleep.
He gets quiet...What's he doing? I lift my head just in time to see brown fur hit me in the face as he jumps on me. I shoot up in surprise, causing him to fall off. "He's not gonna let me sleep, is he?" I mumble to myself and glare at him. He starts to pant in excitement and gives me a wolfish grin. "Nope!" He yelps as he gets up and we start to walk to the meadow near our makeshift camp. Every once in a while a deer or two will wander off here, not expecting us wolves to be hiding there.

Roleplay Post Example: (Here are two from a group Roleplay on Neopets) The repetitive sound of something knocking on wood filled the tiny bookstore, with a thump thump thump. The something that was making the noise, just happened to be a tall ebony haired pale skinned lady, sitting at a circular table. With her nose in a book of riddles, she ravenously munched on a large bag if pretzels, while absentmindedly kicking the table leg. Her long yellow shirt hung down past her waist and went well with the dusty beige pants she was wearing, or so she thought. She didn't even notice when her best friend came up behind her, nor did she notice when her friend sat a large stack of books on her head. She was so absorbed in memorizing that book that she tuned everything else out. She prided herself on knowing hundreds of riddles, and the answers to all. Meanwhile...
In another part if the bookstore, an other young lady, well more of a girl, was asleep in an old recliner, snoring away, or as she would put it, 'breathing heavy'. She was obviously tired after playing many pranks at her friend, and now had like a fun sugar crash. Her short light, almost white, blond hair comforted her head like a pillow, since it was so thick, against the hard arm rest of the chair. With a moan, she rolled over in her sleep, causing her to almost tumble from the chair. {Done}

A pair of jade green eye peered up at the sky through cream colored bangs. 'Every day another town.' The girl thought to herself. She was constantly moving, constantly changing her appearance as well. She doubted anyone ever could keep up with her, with the fact she practically became a different person everyday of her life. An identity crisis, her parents had called it. Stemming from the fact her parents had expected a baby boy, and not her, and named her likewise. To Marquis, that was not the case. She had the power of illusion was she to do nothing with it? The pollen from a nearby jasmine bush brought her back from her reverie, and promptly caused her to sneeze. Wiping her nose on her strawberry leopard print sweater, she looked around. What town was this again? She never truly payed attention to those small details. The barking of a small dog, brought her attention to the street across from her. A boy, about her age, was walking past, looking like he would rather not be spoken too.
