Fishsplash's fur bristled as soon as he heard the deadly hissing and he yowled, "Rosamun!" He snatched her scruff in his jaws nad hauled her back, pushing her out of the way as it striked, biting at his leg.

(I kinda want him to get bit but survive, I can't remember but I swear someone was bitten and survived in thebooks)

(But this isn't the books so I guess if he's bitten he can survive.)

Rosamund gasped, surprised when he pulled her back, taking the snake's bite. "Fishsplash! Are you okay?"

He hissed, Snarling as the snake slithered away, "Ya, I think so." The older warrior said as he held his back leg gingerly off the ground, pain shooting through his body as he hobbled on three legs.

Rosamund eyed his leg nervously. "No your not! Whatever that thing was, it bit you!" Her fur bristled with worry. "Come on, we have to get you to Duckwing!"

"Stupid adders." He huffed as he struggled to limp back to camp.

"Was that an adder that bit you?" Rosamund asked.

He nodded, "I know the hissing anywhere." He growled as he gritted his teeth, the pain growing stronger.

"Lean on me if you have to." Rosamund looked worriedly at him. "We're almost there."

He nodded as he leaned on her as lightly as he could, "We'll have to...warn Kestrelstar....of the adder." He panted.

Mothpaw helplessly rushed to Cloudsong, pushing some borage leaves towards her. "Here, to increase milk," she explained. "Would you like a poppyseed? You must be tired." Mothpaw asked. She looked at the kits and smiled, it was always nice to have new life in the clan. "They're beautiful."
