I really hate it when people god-mod, or power play. It's unfair.

It's so depressing. I love it

Sad is happy for deep people.

Excuse me but I find this extremely disrespectful and rude.
I understand where you're coming from.
A lot of this annoys me as well.
But you have no right to make a thread about it.
You can hurt people with this thread.
If someone who RPs like this sees it,
they may feel really bad about themselves and like they are not worthy to be RPing.
Let people RP the way they want.
There is no "correct way" to RP.
Everyone does it differently.
Everyone has different literacy levels.
If someone wants to do first person, let them.
If someone wants to use *asterisks*, let them.
Let others RP the way they want and the way they are comfortable with at their current levels.
If someone asks you for help, then help them.
But making a whole thread about it?
That is just rude and hurtful.

I actually quite agree with this. Even literate role players will set up a chatzy rp in which you use asterisks and no quotation marks and they're great fun for something stress free
Everyone writes different, there's guidelines on how to roleplay but we already have a stickies thread for that

This thread has been locked because it has turned into a rant and criticism thread, this is both rude toward members who do roleplay in the styles/with the mannerisms being listed here, and secondly this is all subjective. What irritates you will not necessarily irritate someone else, and while we all learn through practise it is hugely discouraging to come across a topic which exists solely to slander and shame people who write in a certain way.
