"Yes?"meowed Boulderstar. He shook his glossy pelt and waited for their reply.

"Umm well Hawkpaw and I are ..... are mates" she whispered the last word so Boulderstar could barley hear it

"Mates?" echoed Boulderstar. "As apprentices?"

Wolfpaw nodded and twined tails with Hawkpaw

Hawkpaw remained silent while his leader and, what was apparently, his mate talked. His nonchalant expression showed that he didn't have any objections to what Wolfpaw was saying and he didn't feel a need to add anything onto the conversation.

"You have to wait until you two are warriors. But, you are old enough and mature enough. I guess, I could make you, warriors." Boulderstar jumped to the top of the Stump-Cliff. "Cats of StoneClan!" he yowled. "Join me for a naming ceremony!"

Hawkpaw

A look of surprise showed in the tom's amber eyes as he took in what Boulderstar was saying to them. "Warriors?" Hawkpaw muttered softly while he watched the leader jump up on Stump-Cliff.

Snowpaw

Unsure of what ceremony could possibly be taking place, Snowpaw slowly padded over to watch the ceremony.
