He returned to his own cabin and sat down upon his bed. He sat in silence, head resting upon his knees. Thinking.
What if she finds out? He kept asking himself. Over and over. She'd hate me. All I want is for someone to talk to
He shook his head. She must never find out. He decided.

Standing, he picked up his rucksack and quickly stuffed a few changes of clothes into and zipped it up - he had never been on a quest, so was not sure what he actually needed to bring. He hoped this was enough.

Angel jumped off the pavilion after dinner and rushed towards the camp entrance. She didn't want to be late and seem like a jerk so she stopped when she say the big stone arch. She touched her belt to check that she had her sword on it. She looked around and saw the golden fleece that was being protected by the dragon. She looked around again to see if Reiven was coming. She looked back out to the real world where her used to be home was. Back in California with her mom and family.

Reiven was late, and he knew it. He raced to the place Angel had told him to meet her and arrived panting. He doubled over, clutching at his knees whilst he regained his breath. Then looked up and smiled slightly.

Angel smiled back. "Glad you could make it." She told him stepping out where she breathed in the air. It smelled different as if it was cautious to breath it in. "What did you pack?" She asked him as she leaned against a tree and felt one of it's leaves. She liked knowing the feel of a real tree's leaves. She pulled one off and looked at it touching it lightly.

He flushed slightly, realising that he had probably brought all the wrong things.
"Spare clothes. Some necter. And a few Drachma"
He answered timidly.

"Good enough. I brought modern money as well as drachma. Spear clothes, healing supplies, food, weapons, and some extra things." She told him and started to walk. "Why are you acting so timid Reiven? I won't hurt you unless things happen." She told him, betting he knew what things meant. She dropped the leaf and pulled out a map which was one of the extra things and it was a map of the united states. "I think we'll end up going to probably a hot state near the equator sense it says the goddess of fire." She told him reading the map.

Should he tell her? And risk her abandoning the quest a together? He thought to himself. He shook his head, then jogged slowly to catch up with Angel. He nodded as she spoke, pretending to be paying attention - whereas in fact, a small war was raging in side his mind.

Angel looked at him. "What are you thinking Hecate Boy?" She asked him. Is he hiding something? Maybe he's not even a demigod, and that's why he's so timid around me. No, that's stupid monsters can't even get in the camp, except.... She shook her head. No it can't be possible, that was years ago. But, what if it is possible? She mentally slapped herself for thinking such dumb thoughts. She looked at Reiven and waited for an answer.
