I would say some kind of dog or maybe a tropic bird, but then again, I'm not good at RAs. My tip would be to just look through the analyses on TDF and read about the animals that feel right to you. I, for one, would never have thought of a binturong if it hadn't been for stumbling across the analysis on there. Good luck! :D

Ok, so I found a general wolf analysis, and it seems to fit, perhaps with the smallest (and I mean smallest) of gaps. But now I'm reading up on every wolf analysis I can get my mitts on x3

Chromahound @ You should check out the dæmon quiz here. It was made by a TDF member I believe, and I think the personality typing is accurate. I heard somewhere that the forms aren't completely accurate, but it can still help give you a general direction and know what sort of things to look at.

But overall, the best way to discover your form is to a) write an in-depth RA and post it on TDF (It's going to take quite awhile to fill out the RA and wait for someone to give their thoughts on it, but it's worth it, and you'll get some really thoughtful advice. I had a user reply to my RA and the forms s/he suggested were spot on.) or b) do as Verdande suggested and skim through the analyses on TDF.

It takes quite awhile to really find your form, and it's a gradual journey, not something you'll find and settle into right away. It's a lot of fun though, and I love what I've learned from trying to discover my form. I wish you and your dæ luck! =)

How has your daemon evolved since you first became a daemian?
Well I've had him long before I was officially a dæmian, so there's definitely been a huge amount of personality change throughout the years. He's pretty much grown up with me, and his personality has matured alongside mine. When I was a small child he was really cute, sarcastic, hyper, and playful, and while he still has these traits, he presents them in a different way. He acts a lot more adult now, and has some traits and quirks his younger self didn't. Overall, interacting with him on a daily base has really developed his character in a pretty amazing way. He's become so developed that I honestly consider him less of a character and more of a friend (albeit an imaginary one.) He was my favorite OC when I was seven/eight years old, and it's so awesome to see how he's grown into my closest companion.

Which part of your personality (if any at all) is most reflected in your dae?

Probably my playfulness and extroversion. While a lot of people would be a little surprised by it, the truth is I'm honestly a really friendly, outgoing, people-oriented person and being shut away or kept to myself for too long makes me feel isolated and depressed. When I was small I was the little social butterfly, always going out of my way to talk to people or make friends. But when I entered school the school I went to was strict and because of this I became disciplined, I guess you could stay, and became really quiet. It wasn't until I was a teenager that I started opening up again, really. And between the transition stage I had my dæmon sort of voicing that inner confidence and outgoing-ness that I had suppressed. He's a really affectionate and talkative and sort of illustrates that inner extroversion in me.

Thank you Solar, that quiz really helped. I read a grey wolf analysis on TDF and it felt right. I took that quiz a few times before out of curiosity, and it always comes out with multi-faceted soul. So what forms would fit in with that personality?

Hah, I got solitary trickster.

You scored -11% on Extroversion, higher than 13% of your peers.
You scored 8% on Sensitivity, higher than 87% of your peers.
You scored -12% on Openness, higher than 12% of your peers.

I don't think I'm quite as sensitive as the results said, and some points in the paragraph didn't completely fit, but overall it did fit me, and was a great test. We'd still feel a little uncomfortable with forms bigger than a small rodent, and the 3 suggested forms - Coyote, Fox, Raccoon - are of course bigger than rodents.
I have tried fox before but as I said, Muri prefers taking the rat form. After reading through the test, though, we feel like we might be a bit more comfortable with one of those forms possibly, so we're going to try them out at school tomorrow. ^u^

Thankyou, Solar, for posting the test! I'm considering showing it to a friend or two, to see if they might be interested. One tried it at one point but I don't think she took it seriously or still visualizes him. She called it 'Daymon' o.O

Some people pronounce it "daymon", to avoid confusing dæmon with demon, which is very very VERY bad.

Hmm... That was literally his name though, not just the way she pronounced what they actually are.
I don't know whether to bring the subject up to her, about having a dæmon agai. I don't even know if she actually does visualize one, or remember I have one. cx

Ahah, I've been saying it wrong all this time? |D *crawls into pillows and blankets*

Maybe she just doesn't take it seriously. My friend thinks me having Sol is odd. But I said that she would love having a dæmon. Dæmons should have a proper name because, in a sense, they are a thing. A nonexistent being. And they deserve a name. I found a name for Sol ASAP, cuz it felt weird without a name. Maybe just suggest it, like, "you know I said about Dæmons...?"

Does anyone have any good projection techniques?

I'm not really good at projecting myself. I used to be good at it but then I stopped practicing and now it's a bit hard. My tip would be to just imagine where you dae would be in a given situation and really focus on getting the movement of the animal right. I had to watch youtube videos of binturongs to find out how they moved. They were way slower than I had first thought!
