Raven nodded a thankyou, regaining her composure and facing the group. She glanced at the new girl, but didn't say a word, simply holding her blade by her side. She watched quietly, shocked, and the strange boy from the bleachers slit his skin. She looked down at her Mary-Janes, her lips locked shut and her hair falling to cover her eyes. She was usually so much... stronger than this. Then again, she never met someone withe the same ability as her. She tried to clear her thoughts, telling herself that a coincidence like that didn't matter. She just wanted to be the best, no matter what it took.

Raven pulled Ashley to the side. "Could you give me a quick demonstration of your powers? Just so I know how to use my powers to your advantage..." She said, wiping her raven-black hair out of her eyes and looking at her curiously. She actually meant what she said. Raven used to be all about finding people's weaknesses... But now she needed her strength. Raven was willing to accept any method possible to win, including team work.
