We had a lot of snow, but instead of adding a week on at the end of the school year, they took away our days we'd had off.
Fridays we had off for meetings in Milwaukee or Madison we'd suddenly have school half days.
Cut our Springbreak short...
They just kinda cut days off here and there and extended half days so we wouldn't have to go into the summer.

you guys wanna talk about a lot of snow? heck, during the light months we still had drifts up to our shoulders. but school kept on bc we're not weak like all yall city slickers.
actually, i wish we were a little weaker bc we havent had a snow day in thirty years.

We still had snow in May. We didn't have Spring, we had winter, second winter and then dove straight into summer.
The snow here was bad, but not that bad.
My school district is always the LAST to cancel school.
One day this year we were supposed to have below -50 degree wind chill and 25 inches of snow (that half never came) and we didn't cancel until the day of. Everyone else around us, pretty much the entire state, cancelled Thursday or Friday before and we didn't cancel until the Monday it was supposed to come.
