Mine was Zapdos as well, but I ended up trading it for an articuno.
I'll probably end up restarting with froakie if I can't get a moltres soon.

If you only need a new charger you can get one at nintendo's website here.
I tend to loose and break chargers a lot and always get refurbished ones there. I've already had to get one for my 3ds and it works great.
They also sell replacement parts if it's your 3ds that is broken.
