He raked against the deer's side. It gave another cry and stummbled forward. Strider moved forward and bit into the base of it's neck, a crack rang out and the stag collapsed under the alpha's feet. He panted heavily and raised himself. Our pack will finally be able to eat. Strider gimpsed a stream, he licked his muzzle of blood and padded over. The wolf dipped his muzzle into the stream, turning the clear stream red with blood. He raised his head and stared at his reflection. A surge of hate ran through him as he saw the scar for the first time. "Is that..." He tried his best not to cry. "I look like, a monster."

"D***it." The fae mumbled to herself as a handful of rocks tumbled down the slope she hobbled down. 'Be careful.' her thoughts demanded, and Blair continued as best she could, carefully placing a paw on unsteady rocks just to escape the destruction of what used to be her home. A white ear flickered at cawing, the fae's eyes drifted up to match the sound to black figures floating about in the sky. Crows. Scavengers. Blair rolled her eyes in slight disgust mumbling another word in anger under her breath. At that moment, rocks slipped from under her, this time carrying her with them. She smacked her fractured rib a few times before getting ahold of things. Three white paws leapt from boulder to boulder as they tumbled down the hillside until she reached Earth again, panting and dodging small pebbles. She had no clue her paws were bleeeding from friction against the stone. Poor Blair was a mess.

Trek snarled quietly as he tripped and banged his chin on a rock again. He licked his lips and shook his head, continuing to sprint up the hill. A new smell entered his nose, but he ignored it until he reached the top, sprinting a few yards but tripping and rolling from surprise. Another pack? He was baffled, and rolled to a stop, getting up on shaky legs. You've got to be kidding me. He whined quietly and close his eyes, facing his nose to the sky, taking deep breathes to calm his pounding heart. He lowered his muzzle the ground and opened his eyes, looking over the ground. Yes, it's much more dry up here. I should begin looking. I don't think it grows near trees.. He trotted forward into an open spot, and began looking over the plants that were strewn through the meadow, looking for anything green and looked like a fern.

((Just curious, is there anyone in the mountain pack who is open? It's not needed, since Trek'll be heading back to the cave soon, but it's be fun to be this loner who knows people from both packs, but won't join either xD He'd be like this connection between the packs, in a way ))
