Jak stared at him in blank shock, her mind finally catching up to what the guy was telling her. "Don't tell me the entire town's like this," the statement slipped out before she could stop it. She shook her head, "Never mind. I think I already know the answer." She looked at the harmless looking mass of buildings.

"Hn, this could work to my advantage... I could stay here instead of running from those pesky government officials." she turned sharply to the demon-kid. "You said three quarters demon. Does that mean you're part human, too?"

Ri flew above the trees, like she usually did this time of day. She noticed a shape speeding beneath the canopy. She always had to know what's going on, and she flew downwards into the trees, her fire coloured feathers trailing behind her.

Betobeto sat in his tree. He prefered to stay there during the day, it's far less hectic then anywhere else in the forest. That was the reason he went to the city for a few months, there were more people to hunt and they were generally less annoying then everyone else. That's at least what he thought until he went there, as the people who lived there darted around from place to place like they were in a hurry when they don't even know the meaning of the word. Still, he had to laugh at the drunk people.

"No, I am one quarter angel, from my mother" Cristian said and rolled his ice blue eyes, being mistaken for a human annyoed him, but in his own opinion he was not worthy of being a demon. He sighed, he rubbed his chin, feeling a few prickly hairs and he sighed, he was ever growing, so he would have to shave fore the second time that day.

Jak looked at him strangely. "Angel and demon, huh? That's...an interesting mix. I thought the two hated each other." She settled back down into her branch, "I'm Jak. You spell that J-A-K. I'm a dragon. Nice to meet 'cha." She looked up, staring at the canopy, her ears straining for a noise. "Someone's up there," she whispered, motioning vaguely to the sky.

[*Skylar The Plant*]

"You can hear it too? You must have good hearing, I have big ears so my hearing is much better, I think it's a bird" Cristian said and twitched his long pointed ears, he smiled lightly at his old memories of his old bird friend, the one that had brought him food when he was in bed with two broken legs. He smiled even wider.

Jak looked briefly at him before returning her worried gaze to the tops of the trees. "Yeah, I'm a dragon, as said before." She shrugged, "We have good hearing." A bird, eh...

[*Skylar The Plant*]

"Wow, so do you bask in the sun, like a lizard?" Cristian asked and smirked slightly, but then he gazed worriedly at the thick canopy of leaves above his head, hoping no sun would break through and burn his sensitive skin, he had lived in a gave for the two years of his life, It was strange, he looked twenty but was only two.

[Rose.]

((Well, it depends, is your character going to be coming into the town, or is he already there? Or in the forest, once I have that information I'll try and find a way for you to come in and yuh, I'll have one of my many characters interact with you if ya want XD ))

Ri flew into the trees. She slowed herself down and flapped her brown feathers wildly as she perched on a branch near Jak and Cristian. She turned around and looked at them.
"Greetings, Cristian!" she said with a high pitched voice and exaggerating the 'i' so it sounded more like an 'ee'. "I didn't know you awake now, yes?" She turned her head to Jak. "And who you?"

((By the way, the light bad grammar when Ri talks is on purpose.))

Beto's eyes flashed yellow for a bit and he glanced at a bush close by. He heard a rusling, was it an animal? He couldn't be bothered checking and just sighed. He looked back at the sky trying to find different shapes in the clouds, but he casted a sidelong glance at the bushes.
