He watched him carefully then placed his hand on his son's soft head and ruffled his hair."Get that check out by the nurse then get some rest. However, I don't want to see you for the rest of the week inside my office. When you're done in here, get out." he said in a monotoned voice though there wasn't any hate in it for a change.

Ayato immediately flinched away from his father when he ruffled his hair. His eyes were filled with fear "y...yes...sir..." He stammered nervously. He was confused and nervous by this sudden change. He bit his lip but hurried out the door. Something was not right about what his father just did. He never did that and he never once cared about his injuries it made him even more nervous than before. Instead of going to the nurses office he went straight to his room. He was used to taking care of his own injuries so he washed both hands with disinfectant soap and wrapped both of them neatly.

He only shrugged and started up some paper work he had to do. He rather enjoyed seeing fear in his eyes, so he didn't even feel hurt or anger.

Hikaru yawned his eyes red and puffy and felt confused. Funny...I did what Ayato told me to do...strange. it was very cold in his room, but he made sure Ramos was covered up and warm before he started. He turned to his side and sighed."Baka..." he murmured and closed his eyes.

Ayato couldn't fall asleep. He was confused by his fathers actions and his mind was all frazzled by everything that happened. He pulled the covers over him and curled up in a ball. He still wanted to know why his room was trashed but feared going in the office after his father told him that he didn't want him going in there for a week. He grit his teeth figuring the old man was hiding something.

Hikaru fell asleep for many thirty minutes before snapping awake at a complaining meow."Ok, ok. What do you need?" he sat up his eyes rested a little from sleep and saw the cat by the door."You want out." he opened the door and followed him to Ayato's door. Hikaru sighed softly and knocked on it."Ayato?" he called softly. Ramos meowed and clawed at the door.

Ayato jumped at the knock but relaxed hearing Hikaru's voice. He got out of bed and unlocked and opened the door "what's up?" He asked quietly

"Nothing much. The cat wanted to see you, I guess." Hikaru commented when Ramos walked in quickly and rubbed on Ayato's leg purring."Maybe he wants to make you feel better."

Ayato chuckled seeing Ramos rubbing against his leg. He squatted down and stroked him and looked up at Hikaru "make me feel better?" He asked

"Yep! Animals can feel things from us even if we make sure no one can see it." Hikaru shrugged."I see nothing wrong with you, but he might." Ramos nuzzled his hand and purred softly.

"Oh..." Ayato murmured and then sighed "in all honesty I don't even know how I feel at the moment..." He murmured and carefully picked up Ramos and cuddled him as he stood up and looked back at Hikaru.
