Lionpaw looked at Sagepaw and gave her a weak smile.

Flametail released the breath he never knew he was holding, relieved that Hawkflight didn't die. Before he left, he meowed a "Congrats" to Sagepaw and walked out of the medicine cat den.

"Then we shall proceed," Hawkflight meowed, standing to look down upon her apprentice.
"I, Hawkflight, medicine cat of BrushClan, call upon my warrior ancestors to look down on this apprentice. She has trained hard to understand the ways of a medicine cat, and with your help she will serve her Clan for many moons.
Sagepaw, do you promise to uphold the ways of a medicine cat, to stand apart from rivalry between Clan and Clan and to protect all cats equally, even at the cost of your life?"

Sagepaw looked at lionpaw and then to foxpelt her eyes held a great sorrow . She looked at foxpelt and gave her a weak grin "guess theres no turning back now huh "she said giving a saddened chuckle.

Foxpelt gave Sagepaw a sad frown before laying in her den, panting softly. The kits couldn't possibly to due now!
