Lionpaw nodded when Tallpaw said about being a medicine cat must be a lot of work. He then watched as Tallpaw brought down a bird, "Good job Tallpaw!" He exclaimed and smiled before sniffing the air. He turned and padded away from them, towards the faint scent of mouse.

Sagepaw smiled and cheered "yay! nice catch tallpaw !" She said impressed. "You need to teach me how to do that " she stopped suddenly hearing the scuttle of a mouse in the underbrush with a quick pounce it was dead.

Sagepaw bounded away in the direction she saw lionpaw go "come on tallpaw." She said disappearing into the trees catching up to lionpaw she stayed a few rabbit leaps away getting ready to pounce on him.

Lionpaw saw the mouse and crouched down before pouncing and missing the mouse, sighing as it scurried under a root.

Sagepaw held in reassuring him and with a fierce yowl leaped springing foreward in an attempt to tackle the oblivious tom.

Tallpaw followed the other apprentices. He was jealous of all the attention Lionpaw was getting. It was always about the
handsome, perfect, funny tom. Never about Tallpaw. He brought down a bird, for StarClan's sake, and all he got was a
