Littlesong fell to the ground as her apprentice pinned her. She laughed and rolled out form under him. "Why don't you go gt something out of the fresh-kill pile as a treat." She said.

Sagepaw nodded at the queen "well let's go " she said placing her tail on foxpelts shoulder " its going to be sun high soon" she meowed to the queen.

Lionpaw stretched and nodded, "Yeah, okay." He replied and smiled before running off towards the fresh-kill pile. He grabbed a small mouse and quickly ate it before freezing, "Oh! Sagepaw!" He breathed in realization before looking for her.

Foxpelt nodded and followed the apprentice. Suddenly Lionpaw appeared in front of her.

Lionpaw finally found them, "Hi mom. Hi Sagepaw." He greeted and smiled, directing his gaze towards Sagepaw. "Sorry, I was at my lesson, we can go hunting now!"

Littlesong chuckled and ate a mouse, before laying next to her apprentice and his friends. She turned to Foxpelt and chuckled. "They grow up too fast, right?" She asked, amusement in her eyes.

Tallpaw padded over to Sagepaw and Lionpaw. "Can I join you guys? I'm bored out of my paws!"

Foxpelt smiled faintly, "You have no idea..." She murmured sadly. Lionpaw looked just like Viperstrike, but his behavior resembled Badgerheart. She was happy he was such a sweet tom, but his appearance made her think of the old Clan sometimes.

Lionpaw laughed softly at Tallpaw, "It's up to Sagepaw. I'm not sure if she could handle both of us at once!" He teased and grinned at Sagepaw.

Sagepaws heart fluttered and she blushed slightly immediatley looking at her paws " i dont know i was about to go looking for herbs with foxpelt" she said not wanting to blowo ff the queen. She quickly spoke again tripping over her words "i mea...mean if you dont mind helping me after we hunt...yea" she said softly getting up. She looked over at tallpaw "sure okay but you have to help too" she said joking lightly

Lionpaw smiled, "Of course I'll help. What else am I gunna do anyway?" He mused and smiled at Tallpaw. He was happy to go, even though he was arguably the worst hunter in the camp.

Tallpaw chuckled. "I'll do whatever it takes to hang out with my friends and get away from those el-" He rose his eyebrows
in mistake as he lowered his voice to a whisper. "Those elders." He looked back at them, making a face when he turned back
around. "So, let's go?"


Littlesong smiled sadly. "He looks so much like his father." She acknowledged, licking Foxpelt's ear.

Lionpaw frowned at Tallpaw, "Hey, those elders were former hunters and warriors for this Clan. Be respectful." He stated, suddenly looking more mature.

Foxpelt frowned, "Yeah....it brings back bad memories, but I'm happy he doesn't act like his father." She murmured, watching her son carefully.

Sagepaw smiled at both toms "okay okay lets go " she said happily bouncing twoards the camp exit she suddenly turned and called out to foxpelt"foxpelt thankyou for hearing me out and being there i think the talk with oakstar can wait dont tell anyone okay ?!" She said bowing her head in thankyou. Looking back at both toms "tallpaw Lionpaws right thoes elders used to be great warriors once and are now wise cats of the clan" with that she ran out of the camp.
