Foxpelt nodded and smiled softly, "Well, you are still young so I'm not surprised that you never thought about having a family. Although, the Clan becomes your family. The kits are your kits, the apprentices are your friends, the warriors are your siblings, and the elders are your parents." She sighed softly before smiling faintly, "However, there is probably a reason you have been chosen as a medicine cat." She stated and have a soft smile.

Sagepaw smiled at the she cat shaking her head "foxpelt you know yourself that its not the same having a mate and having my own kits is an expirence i will never be able to have something i know my heart will always long for" she said wisely sagepaw had always been mature for her age wjich wasnt always A good thing, "but i know that the clan needs my help and that my place is medicine cat i have no intrst in being a warrior but seeing cats together breaks my heart" she said sadly.

Hawkflight led the way into the medicine den, where she gestured to different sections with her tail as she named them. "There's where we sort our herbs, that's where we store them. Sick cats rest in these nests, and this is where Sagepaw and I rest." She turned to smile at Oakstar. "And that's it." Her heart leaped. She frowned and turned away.

Foxpelt smiled softly, "You're right, it isn't. You should talk to Oakstar about this if it continues to be a hinderance." She replied. She liked this apprentice, she was kind and mature. She paused a moment in thought, "I don't know what to tell you, your kind heart is good for both a queen and a medicine cat."

Oakstar nodded and smiled before looking over at her. He noticed her turn away, "Everything alright?" He asked gently.
