I barely remember the old layout, but it's there, in the back of my mind.
I remember opening numerous windows/taps to adopt pets, so I didn't have to keep refreshing the same page.
I remember adopting just one of each litter, then realizing that you could adopt more then one.
I remember when the limits on the litters were set.
I remember the first advent, and easter, and halloween, plus CS's first year.
I remember going crazy over all the 'riping' pets and 'color-changing pets.
I remember when 'older' members were nicer, only because of less noobs.
I remember the 'make-your-own' wishlist days, and searching through all your pets to see if you had someone wishie to trade.

Chicken Smoothie has grown so much, and it can only get better! Here's to more years!!!

Yes, I think I still have a few saved on my hardrive. I used to spend hours cropping pictures, and trying to make them pretty and such. Haha.

I remember no rarity notes.

I now lament over the loss of my cake dog. Now I only have two. D: Someday, I shall get her back! Or find another one. Or something.

Gah, reading this topic and remembering basically all of it makes me feel old. x3 <3

Let's see...

- I remember before there was "My pets" pages, and how you had to save the code on your computer or make topic about your pets so you didn't lose them.
- I remember before there was an adoption limit.
- I remember not knowing there were multiple outcomes, so I adopted, like, one of each pet. I still kick myself for that.
- I remember hating the heart rats from July/August cause they were pink.
- I remember how excited I got when one of my pets grew [which rarely happened because I had barely any pets xD]
- I remember when there were just dogs/wolves, rats, and butterfly wolves. [And Tess horses]
- I remember that the old old trading system was just giving a pet to a person and trusting them to give a pet back.
- I remember when there used to be an "About Tess" link on the front page. x3
- I remember the tan layout.
- I remember everyone would give pet's away just cause they could.
- I remember when no one really cared about rarities.
- I remember when guests could post.
- I remember when the pets had the owners name on them.
- I remember when "The Pound" was just a thread.
- I remember adopting one pet at a time, and also when there were pixel pets. <3
- I remember when Tess was the only artist...
