Oakstar chuckled, "She does know best when it comes to wounds." He stated and grinned, "Hey hey hey, I feel insulted." He mused and looked at Hawkflight, "I'm sorry, I'll come help you sort herbs. I'm sure you and Sagepaw can help me successfully help you." He replied.

Lionpaw smiled at Sagepaw, "Hi Sagepaw." He replied and watched the older cats talk. He chuckled, "I dunno, I'm feeling pretty tired right now. I might not be able to fight anyone." He mused and yawned in amusement as he laid down and rolled over.

Sagepaw noticed her mentors sudden embarrassment but stayed silent.i wonder whats wrong with Hawkflight. she thought. Sagepaw snuck a glance in lionpaws direction to see if he had noticed anything she quickly spoke "Hawkflight if want i can sort The herbs and look for clotsfoot when I'm finished" she said trying to distract her mentor. She pawed Lionpaw in the side and chuckled slightly "your anyways tiered your no fun" she exclaimed "hey we should go hunting later" she lowered her voice for only him to hear and added "i need to show you something" she whispered.

Littlesong sat down in defeat. They had completely ignored her. She looked at Lionpaw and Oakstar, a frown on her face. Now what? Was she going to be ignored like this for her whole life? She tried to keep her fur from bristling. "Why don't you go play with Sagepaw? I'm a big 'ol boring warrior anyway." She huffed, trying to smile.

Lionpaw chuckled softly and looked at Sagepaw, "Whatever." He mused and got back up. He heard Sagepaw and flicked his ears back to show that he had heard her. He then chuckled at Oakstar and his flustered expression.

Oakstar glanced from Hawkflight to Littlesong, "Well, he is your apprentice." He mused and stretched again before glancing at Lionpaw in amusement. He did look a little flustered by all of the attention at once, but he had to get used to it. After all, he was the leader.

Littlesong sighed and laid down on the dirt ground, burying her muzzle in her paws. She didn't have a lot of attention in the clan. She didn't really want to have attention, but she wanted friends. She liked to act like the mother of the clan, but she knew it was the leader's job to parent the clan.

Hawkflight smiled at Oakstar, lifting her head. "Thanks," she meowed, and inclined her head towards Sagepaw. "That would be wonderful, we need some coltsfoot. After that, you're free to hunt as long as you like with your future mate," she teased, batting at her apprentice's ears. Then she turned to Littlesong, who was currently burying her nose in the dirt. Hawkflight tipped her head at her, trying not to laugh.

Sagepaw blushed slightly and let out a nervous laugh at her mentors comment. Squaring Her shoulders she shook her head "it is forrbiden for medicine cats to have mates" she said making the mood a little more serious. She padded off too the medicine den before anyone else said something. Sagepaw walked into the cool den breathing in the scent of ask the different herbs. Some. Where earthy while others were aromatic.Sagepaw sighed as the thought of all she had tho give up as medicine cat. A mate, kits ,a family. She began to sort the over turned herbs as she thought is it all really worth it... with a deep sigh she shifted a pile of poppy seeds to a dry corner.

Oakstar smiled faintly at Sagepaw, "Medicine cats always mature the quickest." He sighed softly before looking at Lionpaw. "But he warrior code has it's reasons and is to be followed." He stated before standing and looked at Littlesong, "Since everyone feels like fighting, perhaps you could take Lionpaw for a fighting lesson." He suggested in slight amusement.

Lionpaw smiled at Littlesong, "Yeah, that sounds like fun, can we?!" He asked in excitement. He was ready to go play and expell some energy.

Littlesong chuckled softly. "Alright, sounds like a plan." She flicked Lionpaw in the ear with her tail and smiled. "You'll fight like a lion, right?" She asked, her eyes bright with laughter.
