Hawkflight blinked her eyes open slowly, taking in the bright morning sunshine. She got up and stretched as she padded over to her herbs pile, preparing to sort them out. She glanced over at Sagepaw, her sleeping apprentice. She smiled. She's learning so fast, Hawkflight thought with pride, turning back to the unorganized piles of medicine.

Sagepaws ears flicked as she heard her mentor Hawkflight stir and get up from her nest. She stretched out her legs letting out a yawn, blinking open her eyes she mewed a drowsy greeting to hawkflight" Morning Hawkflight how did you sleep?" She asked sitting up liking her paw.

Oakstar yawned and stretched as he felt the warmth of the sun. He stepped out of his den and happily looked around the camp, his chest swelling with pride. He then padded into the center of camp before trotting over to a tree. He crouched to leap up up towards the tree but was tackled.

Lionpaw tackled his brother, laughing happily. He then leaped off of his brother and ran around him, gently batting at him.

Hawkflight nodded. "I slept like a kit," she purred with a wink, stacking different herbs in separate piles gingerly. Just as she laid the last leaf on the last pile, the sounds of tussling outside startled her, and she jumped, knocking down all the piles. Hawkflight snarled and prowled out into the middle of the camp, watching Lionpaw roughhousing with Oakstar. "Hey! Could you two overgrown rabbits stop making so much noise? Some of us who are working need concentration!" Hawkflight bounded gracefully over to the two half-brothers, prying them apart and glaring at the two with her scorching blue gaze. She knew she was the only one with the position to scold the leader. They had been friends ever since Oakstar had been made leader, so she knew he wouldn't mind. Hawkflight's tail lashed around and she sniffed, breaking into an amused grin. "You two are so immature sometimes," she snorted, chuckling softly. She suddenly felt a tugging sensation at her insides as she glanced at Oakstar, but merely ignored it.

Oakstar jumped up, slightly surprised as Hawkflight came out. He grinned in amusement, "Aw, come one Hawkflight, I don't think we'll be getting attacked anytime soon. Settle down." He teased and lightly batted at her.

Lionpaw silently sat behind Oakstar, watching him in surprise as he teased Hawkflight. Lionpaw knew he would never pick at the medicine cats, just a bad idea in general. "Sorry Hawkflight..." He mumbled.

Littlesong padded out and sat next to Hawkflight, amusement in her eyes. She rose her eyebrows at Oakstar and chuckled. "You should be listening to your medicine cat. She knows what is best, especially after a huge fight." She curled her tail around her paws and smiled warmly at Lionpaw. "A young cat like you should be fighting someone with more technique. I don't think our leader has got it in him." The white she-cat teased, before standing up. "But who am I kidding. You couldn't beat me." The amusement in her voice hinted that she was joking.

Sageaw giggled as she slipped out of the den and watched her mentor hawkflight prying apart the clan leader from his half brother. Her gaze fell opon Lionpaw. Sagepaw padded over to the group of cats bowing her head in respect to the clan leader oak fur. "Hello oakfur, Lionpaw" she said her voice becomingg more playful with the apprentice she mirked slyly at littlesong "i bet i could beat Lionpaw. In a fight and im medicine cat apprentice "she said jokingly with a hint of a challenge in her voice.

Hawkflight flicked her tail in acknowledgment to Littlesong and snorted. "For your information, boys you have just costed me about ten minutes of sorting herbs. So next time you're going to roughhouse, I advise checking if I'm doing anything that requires my full attention first," she purred, unable to stay angry at her friends. She glanced at Oakstar yet again, and felt her heart skip a beat. Hawkflight looked quickly at the ground as to prevent either of them from seeing her expression of embarrassment and surprise. Snap out of it! she scolded herself silently. You're a medicine cat! He's the leader! Get yourself together, it'll never happen! She shook her head slightly.
