Shadow stood patiently in his stall, waiting for Gideon to come and take him out to his trailer. He swished his black tail as he wondered what might have changed since he had left. He remembered the three mares that had given birth around the time he left for Star Stables. He wondered how their foals were, and if any other mares would be covered soon. He remembered his brother, Twin and hoped he was doing well. After he waited another minute more, Gideon walked around the corner with a lead rope. The boy attached the rope to Shadow's halter and opened the stall, leading him out into his trailer. Suddenly, Shadow awoke, startled by the dream he had just had. Why would he dream about leaving to go back to his original farm? Here was just fine.

Kumo looked around in her stall and nudged at a piece of wood covering a window "so Cobalts gone?" Kumo asked

Wildfire followed along, slowly. She was sad Cobalt left too.. Keeping her head lower than usual, she went into her stall.

"Yes Kumo, unfortunately he left. His home was somewhere else." Snowflake said. They all have seemed to become attached to Cobalt in the short time he was there, but Snowflake felt as if she was more attached to him than the rest. She snorted and looked out the stall at the trailer that finally reached the exit of the long mile driveway.

(Hey Fab, you can have Wildfire covered if you want. like we dont go into details, but while Cobalt was there he did. idk. your choice... And have the foal in autumn... it will be like a little stable herd. Cobalt the stally and then Dakota and Snowflake the mares. and Kumo the filly that will be staying with him and become one of his mares.)

Wildfire looked at her food then looked out at where the trailer was. She missed Cobalt, a lot. When she finally fell asleep, her dreams awoke. She dreamed Cobalt came back, and she was out in the pasture with him. She suddenly woke up realizing it was just a dream..

Kumo undid the latch on her stall "how come? why did he come from another stable?" Kumo asked walking toward the barn door so she could look at the night sky like she always did with her mother...only this time she felt lonely when she did

Wildfire stared out where the trailer was for a few minutes then turned her head to look at her belly. She finally looked at her food again. Her eyes were filled with sadness but yet emotionless. She looked back where the trailer had been, and noticed Kumo looking at the stars.

Snowflake looked at Dakota, then back at Kumo. "Well..." She didn't want to say why. Both her and Dakota knew why. For foals. She snorted and looked at Kumo. "Well, so more foals will appear at the stable." She answered, knowing that it was partly true. The foals wouldn't just appear. She watched Kumo with sad eyes.

"Why" Kumo said still looking at the stars then walking back to her stall a few minutes later, then lying down to sleep

Wildfire didn't go to sleep again that night, knowing Cobalt wouldn't come back for a while, at least that's what she thought..
