"Oh. Yeah, you're right." She answered, noticing for the first time that it was growing dark. She suddenly grew insecure, lowering her tail. She had kept this brute in small talk for too long, and she was sure he had his own life and his own places to be. Why waste time polietly chatting with her? She shifted her weight, a nervous habbit, and turned her eyes back to Damon. "Well, I'm sure I'll find food somewhere. Uh, thanks for not attacking me or whatever. It was nice to meet you!" She told him before turning and heading in the opposite direction of him. She kept her tail and ears lowered, her eyes nervously shifting as she trotted down the sidewalk. It was getting late, the dog catcher could be anywhere. As she moved along, dodging legs headed home, she wondered herself where she was going to stay. The woods were scary at night, there were mean dogs and people in the city, and Aurora felt helpless. She whined, and sat on her haunches. "I don't belong in the city, what am I going to do?" She whimpered to herself. And then, she felt her heart lift a little as she spotted a hole in an abandoned building near the back of an alley. Guess I'll take my chances.. she thought as she picked herself up and trotted towards the building. There wasn't any scent of dogs, just a mustiness in the air. She gave a sigh of relief and crawled into the dark hole, curling up in a tight ball on the cold floor.

Noah smiled sheepishly as Hachiko curled up beside him, and instinctively he grew more alert, watching the end of the alley for signs of trouble. He listened as she spoke, his golden eyes flashing to each person as they walked by the alley's entrance, unaware of the two dogs on the brink of naps; and full of cake. "Begging hm?" He asked with a chuckle, looking down at the curled fea from over his chest. He looked back up, the sky was darkening as the sun tucked itself away for it's own nap. He felt his chest flutter a little as Hachiko said she was glad she found him, but couldn't help but cringe at the mention of her brother. He missed his own brother, and he wondered what happened between Hachiko and her brother. "Hach, it's getting late, I have a place we can go to so we can crash for the night. It's not safe out here." He told her, his voice serious; which was uncommon.

All she heard was his voice and feeling safe she
started to go into a deeper sleep yet when she just barely heard
his voice a last time it sounded serious ; which worried her.
Slowly she let her eyes flutter open and lift herself up, " ...
Where ? Take me.. I just wanna rest.. " she murmured, sleep
having a better hold, making her stumble as she fought to get up,
" Just.. we need to hurry... before I fall down and-and go..go..
to sleep. " Hach muttered standing up and drifting around, unsure
at where her tired paws would take her while on a journey to a
better place to stay.. I mean they could take her straight to the
middle of the road and get her killed but.. that wasn't likely.

Tetra panted. "I doubt i'll be traveling with another." She looked down. Only to look up at Sam. "Oh, My name? It's Tetra. Call me whatever. Though I don't think Tetra gets much shorter." She chuckled. She slowly wagged her tail side to side, her course tail hair made a 'Swish' sound on the damp cement that had been keeping the moisture from the rainfall they had this morning. Though the cement in the sun stayed dry. Anyways.

Noah couldn't help but smile at the fea's sleepiness, and he nudged her cheek with his nose. "Don't worry." He said into her fur, looking back out. He laughed as she said she would fall asleep soon, and he shook his head. "I can't have you falling asleep on your paws! Lucky for you, my place isn't too far from here." He assured her, nudging her shoulder forward before padding ahead of her. "Okay, it's right around the block. It isn't much, so don't judge me. But I've never been caught." He said, feeling sheepish about his shabby ''home.'' He walked outside of the alley, the sidewalks and streets were less busy now, but honks and street sounds still echoed in the distance. "Come on, it's ugly, but there's pillows and it's blocked off and out of the open. A stray's paradise! And it's close to food." He laughed, leading her carefully around the block. As they walked, Noah stole glances at Hachiko, making sure she was still intact. He smiled upon reaching his, er humble home. His place was a quaint area in a building that had been condemned. "Okay Hachiko, it's through that hole. I'll go first." He told her, crawling through the hole created by missing bricks. The floor was earth, and there was missing bricks here and there on the walls and there wasn't a roof. There was an old wooden staircase that lead to a door, but it was locked. His place was like the project of the building that never got finished, because it was literally empty space. "They must've tried to add bricks around the stairs to create a room, but whoever did it obviously had no intentions of making it decent. But I thank them, because it's a place for me to stay." He said aloud, waiting for Hachiko to join him. There was a bunch of mismatched pillows that he had gathered from the streets and faded blankets piled into a corner, and other random items that he thought was cool scattered about. "There's plenty of room on my bed, I'm pretty much a pillow scavenger. You'd be surprised how many get thrown out of windows!" He said sheepishly, hoping she wouldn't mind staying here.

She followed the male, the small nudge on her cheek from him slightly making her feel up to the task of walking. " Dare I judge you ?.. Where did that come from ? " She asked while walking behind him, her tail curled and slowly stroking side-to-side with each step she'd take. Suddenly seeing his.. " home " and watching him slip in she sighed and clawed her way under and into the hole. Making her way inside she looked around and froze. This seemed like the best home possible.. excitement coming off of her in waves she ran after him, little claws scraping against the earth, leaving small marks. Seeing pillows Hach barked happily, " Mate its a perfect place ! They might not have finished it but it gave us strays a decent home." she said, her bark actually pretty quiet so no one would hear. " I'd love to help you find pillows.. if it's safe.. " she added, her voice now from happy to uncertain... then going over to " his " bed she smiled slightly and fell down into its cuddles. " Mine now. " Hach said stretching herself out, yet her body didn't really cover anything since she was quite small..

She stared at her for a moment and then licked her
maw, " A pleasure to meet you.. T. " she said, a large grin
on her face at just saying the simple letter " T ". " So..

" Hmm.. Well.. we're in an alley next to the park. " she said with a snort, " Eh.. we're on the West side of the town.. er city.. call it what you want. We're pretty close to a clearing where they have stands with loads and loads of treats. " she cried out her ears perked straight up, her eyes shining with joy. " Aye, also if you want, if you'll work with me, I'd love to have you as a surviving friend around here.. but more like I want you to help me and snag some hot dogs or.. something.. I don't care as long as you and I can each have a claim. " she said with a growl as she stood, her chest puffed out and ears up, looking dominant. " Hehe.. sorry. Just kiddin' about being surviving buddies yet, I would want you to help me if you wanna. " she asked sitting back down, turning into her runt self again.
