Mary's behavior may be the sort of behavior her painter, Guertena, imagined her to have. Although Mary is, technically, the main antagonist of the game, she is, by no means, an evil character; rather, just very lonely, as she wanted to leave her world to be with others.

Mary sat deep in the forest, alone, she was staring at her yellow rose. Her blue eyes narrowed, then closed she was sighed loudly. "Dumb rose. It sucks I need you." She said to herself.
