Welcome, Chroma! Me and my dæmon, Muri, both say hello. c:
Muri isn't very comfortable in many forms, though he's very comfortable being an albino rat. Oddly enough, he's also fairly comfortable being a pen with feathered wings... ever since it was mentioned on here what our dæmons' weirdest forms were. We do try out new forms, but he doesn't often like them and changes back to a rat straight after.
He shows up more than he used to, and he has given me some helpful advice, even if it doesn't always help. He also can be quite 'unclean', as you put it. I partly blame a friend for that. cx

Tos is... not exactly what you would call clean when it comes to trying new forms. He thinks normal animals are too boring and has a tendency to take on more human and... well... let's just say 'not very kid-friendly' forms. It's odd how comfortable he is being a big, flying bowlingball. I have absolutely no idea why my subconcious would show up in such a way.

Yeah, we had a similar thing. Sage (chisager for those who missed our introduction) hates inanimate objects. We tries a quill, but she prefers having wings to go with the feathers

... Yeah, she didn't much like that one.
I prefer birds, though sometimes I try wolves or dingoes. I sincerely dislike inanimate objects. Also, I may not type much here. Lexi speaks for us both, on many an occasion.

I love jumping around. Being ever-changing and all that. I love the binturong form, but I also enjoy taking other forms. Whatever fits the situation. Angry? Fishing cat. Patient? Welsh pony. Even more patient? Spider. Brave? Leopard. My bintie form is also a bit clumsy. It's too big to sit on Verdande's shoulders and too small to walk around on the ground. I really don't know why, but changing into (as well as acting like) her OCs and watching her get all flustered is also really fun.
It's a bit weird, though, with some forms. For example, we read about the Quetzal on TDF and personality-wise, it seems perfect. But neither of us is comfortable with it and we don't know why. I'm pretty sure he'll settle as a binturong. I mean, he has taken that form for over a year.
And I, on the other hand am pretty sure that her personality will change enough over the next couple of years for me to find another form.

Yes, I too find some forms awkward, like pelicans. Not good on the ground, and you can't really sit on anything.
