Mars is a complicated character to understand. Although he’s intricate, he’s still a human and he recognizes that in his strong moments.
Jess Marsden McCotty, known to most as Mars, isn't particularly the best candidate for a happy childhood. Born into Glasgow, Scotland to an Australian mother and Scottish father, he lived the first few years of his life in a small house, which you would only call a hut, by the sea. His father, a drunk, constantly beat them, and when his younger brother, Mattie, came along, his mother abandoned them. Long days they served and worked for their father, until one day Mattie was killed, the only person Mars actually loved.

After it happened, Mars was sent away to a mental institution after a supposed accident that involved his father lying dead on the floor. For three years, Mars lived in the institution, until finally released. Mars has trust issues. He was diagnosed with sadism while at the "prison." He isn't keen of authority, and definitely won't stand under it. Growing up guarded against others, he doesn't show much emotion, or have an actual feel for what others are going through.

Now, back to the sadism? Yes, he slightly enjoys others hurting, but he isn’t as impulsive as a true psychopath, as he is refined and takes action only when he sees true opportunity.
Now to the good traits? He does somewhat care about people who have been hurt in the past, as he was one of those victims. Though that doesn’t mean he’s goody-goody. He will do whatever it takes to get revenge for things that he blames on other people. He is occasionally in a “good mood,” as he enjoys amusing himself. But he can become serious and hateful. He tests faith of others and doesn’t shared his feelings.

Henry Wesley Mullintz—most commonly known to others as Wes—was born on March 5th, in Boulder, Colorado to a middle class family. Always having been the quiet underdog to his model-perfect older brother, Wes grew up a life with an addiction to sweets and a strong interest in self-occupying activities, such as playing his Gibson electric guitar or studying sports cars. Everybody believes he is reclusive—due to his self-consciousness pushed on by self-image and rude comments by fellow neighbor kids—which nudges his parents to criticize his habits and throw him out into the world by himself.

Wesley is actually a very sweet boy with a low self-esteem and abandonment issues. After being dumped by his parents at Coates Academy due to his “slowness and lack of interest in anything,” he was later released due to the dome. Sadly, even if the dome hadn’t ever existed and everybody disappeared, his parents are still located back in Colorado. At Coates everybody knows him as “Davy Hogan.” Even the teachers call him that. Yes, after the obese kid in Stephen King’s Stand By Me.

It was three months before the dome that Wesley discovered his ability to seemingly disappear to the world. Not exactly invisibility either: rather, become in a state which he doesn’t actually exist. You cannot hear him. You cannot see or sense him. He just fades into a blurry-like world in which allows him to watch everything but not intervene unless he wants to come out into the open. In this “state of mind,” as he calls it, Wes is in a seemingly non-gravitated state, to where he can almost “float.” This power only kicks in when he feels unwanted, afraid, or on very rare occasions: when he forces it upon himself.

Cassie Preston hasn't ever tried to play the tough chick. She's never had a wrong, dramatic turn in her life. She's had an ordinary, calm life, raised partially in Maine. The family then moved to Florida in hopes to find a brighter future. Or, so that's what Mack, her father, said. What they didn't know and he did was that there was radiation in the town. Everything was fine. Until the day super natural things started forming in her life. Not to her, anyway. Just the people and things around her. And, somehow, being the snoopy and daring child she is, she has become way more interested in these "Sunlight Events" than she should be.

Okay, to get down to who Cassie is. We're going to be realistic here: she doesn't play the tough girl, or the girl who cries at every little thing. For Cassie, she's come to terms that she'll never be 6 foot tall and 100 pounds. In fact, she's proud of the little chub she has. Although she can be angry, she's normally putting distance between herself and reality with her good-natured humor. Cassie was born to be a Youtuber. She enjoys her socially awkward part in life. Her life-long routine consists of: (1) eating, (2) Youtubing, and (3) watching movies, and (4) eating again.

If she's around somebody she's weary of, she'll display a sense of sarcasm and detest. But, with people she loves (such as her family and friends) she coaxes a few laughs from them with funny faces.

Okay. You better read this thoroughly and enjoy it, because she is a character you will absolutely meet once in a life time. There is no going back. Hannah-Nora Ewa was born in Kingston, Jamaica to an Indian father and a Jamaica mother. After they were informed that Hannah-Nora was born with respiratory problems, they decided that moving to America was the best option possible for her life sake.

Hannah-Nora, being rambunctious, troublesome, and from head to toe, cocky, they decided against anything that would entice these traits. she attended a Catholic church, and, despite being saved, came to know her true identity after fist fighting with a kid at church who made fun of her accent and her life style: she was going to be the next gangster of America.

So, from these few lines, you get the idea that Hannah-Nora isn’t your average cutesy kid. She’s always looking for fights and declares her power to the world. She often tells people her great, great, great uncle is the notorious gangster, Capone. She calls herself Lady Capone, or, on special occasions, the Butterfly.

Despite her being a child, Hannah-Nora is extraordinarily clever and way ahead of her class. And being informed of this, she has developed the biggest ego since Hitler. But when her personal disadvantages come in the way, she is put down – not only by her age and race, but because she knows she isn’t strong enough for what is coming down against her.

When some people first look at Kennedy, they see a short girl with long brown hair. But if they were to look deeper they would find a girl with tanned skin, hazel eyes, and a body fit for an athlete. She stands at exactly five feet four inches tall, and has brown ombre hair that goes down to just below her shoulders. At a first glance, some see her as a girl that would be popular, perhaps, and known among the people. But really, Kennedy is a shadow, always hiding herself away from others. Her family was poor, so she always wore cheap jeans and sweatshirts, and her face was never adorned with the expensive makeup. To this day, she still does not wear makeup, but her sense of style has changed around a little bit. Ever since the dome surrounded their city, Kennedy has been utilizing the lack of supervision to find herself luxurious clothes that she would have never been able to afford, to make herself feel better and more important. However, she is still shy and very quiet, not wanting to make herself the center of attention--she prefers to lurk and follow what everyone else is doing. Kennedy, also referred to as Ken or Kenny, is also very smart. She observes everything going on around her, and although she is just a mainstream follower, she usually can figure out what is really going on. But again, she does not like the attention drawn to her and prefers to keep her opinions to herself. Kennedy can be pretty sneaky, which is one reason why she has improved her wardrobe and managed to keep herself out of the spotlight. Her power is telescopic vision, which gives her the power to magnify and extend one's vision to various levels, almost as if her eyes were binoculars. Kennedy only has one friend, and that one friend is Ryder. She found him on one of her many walks when she was younger, and the puppy ended up coming home with her and becoming her best friend. They are inseparable, and will protect each other with their lives, even if Kennedy is a human and Ryder is her dog.

course. coming off as very cocky and arrogant he can be a huge

be nice but that is somewhat rare to see. he is a powerful three
bar, ranking up there with the more powerful powered kids. he

History: When she was a little girl, she was sent to the school that all of the rich kids went. Not for any specific reason, but because they just didn't want to put up with her. Although, they didn't send her little brother there. She got so mad, and sad. She couldn't believe why they just did that. She was there for a long time, and it made her go a little insane, because she didn't ever get to see her family. Although, not the bad insane, just that she has flashbacks at the most random times. She also has night terrors.
