She finished with her last at home client twenty minutes before Derrick was due back home. Warren was teething and cranky. Normally this wouldn't have been that big an issue but it seemed her little witchling was getting better at directing his new found powers. She fed him then put some medicine onto his gums. "That will help with the pain sweetie, but you can't keep making things fall and move around when I have people over. Most of them wont understand at all. She had actually forgotten that today was their anniversary and that they had plans to go out. Hearing Derrick enter she called out that they were in the kitchen. Warren squealed happily pulling away from Mary to see him.

"Hey Squirt" Derrick said picking up Warren and throwing him up in the air. He loved this kid, even if it wasn't technically his. "How was your day?" he asked the baby even though he couldn't speak. The baby looked at him like he couldn't believe that he had left him with mom all day and he laughed.
