Suncloud's dreams had shown her a bird-a funny looking fellow, with a large blue head and red wings. She didn't understand them until the next day. In her dream, the bird spoke, telling her to follow. She didn't understand why.
The following day, Suncloud traipsed through the territory, collecting cobwebs. She smiled as she found more-then an unnerving bird call made her jump. She whirled around to see the bird from her dream. It cawwed at her before flapping off. Intrigued, she followed it.
It led her to a clearing. In the clearing lay an unconscious, shaggy black tom. "My goodness!" She darted over. Even though sheets a Clan cat, and he was a loner of some sort, she'd pledged to help those in need, and instantly began to treat his wounds.

The badger attack fiercely. "Run, Bella!" I yowled at the top of my lungs to my sister. "I won't leave you!" She hissed back, clawing at its back. "Ace, get its-" she was cut off in a gasp. The badger den was crawling with life. A larger badger had Ace's limp body, dragging it into the den. I could tell from here she was dead. "Ace!" I yowled. My sister was dead, and they other may be dying. I fought like a lion to get to her, make her leave. "Run, Bella!" I yowled again. She took off and I drifted after her. I had to get to the Clan, tell them of my strange Clan dream... I would never make it! I glanced behind me, the creatures swiftly lunged after us. I turned back-Bella was gone. I sighed with relief. She was safe, hopefully. I slowed slightly as the creatures lumbered after. Then I hit it, and upturned stone. I went tumbling, rolling head over heels a few feet before lying still. The badgers tore at me, and I soon blacked out.

Moon awoke later with a groan. He blinked, looking around. The strange yellow tabby and dragged him to a den of sorts, but no other cats were around. I had no memory of earlier that day, besides the attack. The black tom blinked his emerald eyes.
"You were telling me about the badger attack," she mewed, "when you blacked out again. How are you feeling now?"
"Better than before. I'm sorry, you name was...?"
The yellow tabby smiled. "I'm Suncloud, Medicine cat of NightClan."
"Ah, yes." It started to come back now. "Did you see a black and gray she-cat? She had blue eyes and an extremely sleek pelt."
Suncloud shook her head. "No, sorry. Just you. Who are you, anyway?"
Moon nodded sorrowfully. "I'm Moon, a loner around these parts."
Suncloud smiled. "My brother's name is Moonglow."
Moon smiled as well. "You know my sisters' names-Ace and Bella. They're the ones from..." He winced at the memory. Suncloud nodded. "I'm sorry to hear about Ace. Have you any idea where Bella is?" He shook his head. "I'll help you look, once you're healed."
"Thank you," Moon's voice was grateful and sincere.

Suncloud stayed with him through the night, leaving the excuse with Remodypaw that she was spending the night under the stars off territory, listening to StarClan. She and Moon had taken up shelter in a den a bit away. She and Moon spent all their time together now, besides when she was helping Remedypaw. Any day now she would take the apprentice to get her name.The search for Bella was unsuccessful so far. Not a trace of her.
"Bella!" Moon's yowl split the night, followed by Suncloud's sharper, more feminine one. With a sigh, Moon shook his head, and the two retreated to the den. Moon fell into his nest, curled around his forbidden mate. They had fallen in love shortly after she had healed him.
"We'll find her," Suncloud assured. "No we won't," Moon mewed, lying his head on his paws. "I know..." Suncloud did the same. "I'll be taking Remedypaw to tomorrow," she mewed, making Moon smile a bit. "Then we're together forever," he purred. Suncloud had decided as soon as Remedypaw was trained she'd leave to be with him. They would have kits-be happy. "I'd better get back," she mewed, and he nodded.
"Before you go, I had a dream. A big black tom told me, 'The Sun and the Moon will collide and shall both fall in the ashes of their meet'." Suncloud nodded. "Thank you."With a smile over her shoulder, she left the den.
Halfway back, the smell of smoke from NightClan's second fire hit her. The flames rose near camp. "I have to warn Moon!" She darted back towards their den.
The flames licked the tree branches as she ran. "Moon!" She yowled as a shadowy figure ran toward her. Instead it was a gray-and-black she-cat. "Where's Moon?" She growled hastily. "Who're you?" Suncloud crouched, claws unsheathed.
"My name is Bella."

"Moon!" I was hunkered in the back of the den, a blazing branch at the entrance. I could hear my mate's call. Then there was a crack. "Moon!" Bella's voice rang in my ears, and ww
as overcome with joy that she was alive, but what had happened to my Sun? "I'll be right back!" There was the sound of dragging. It got fainter and fainter.
Then, when all hope was lost, she was back, scrabbling to get rid of the branch. I was able to escape with her. "Where's Suncloud?" I mewed frantically. Bella's eyes clouded. "She...she left you, Moon, abandoned you. Said you weren't worth it. But come on! I joined a group of cats called SpikeClan! They'll take you too!" Eyes filled with hurt, I ran after her.

It was time. I stood beside Bella near the patrol's head. I was ready for the yowl. As we waited, I listened.
"I'll stay guard tonight."
"Thank you, Moonglow."
The odd-pelted gray tom stood near the entrance. Moonglow. Suncloud's brother. I was ready for the kill.
"Attack!" I was already half way there before my brain registered what we were doing. With an extra burst of speed, I leapt, being the first there, this the one to bowl over Moonglow. I ripped at his pelt, but didn't waste much time on him. I began to search through the crowd.
I simply followed the scent of herbs. I knew several of them, by our time spent together. There she stood at the entrance, frozen in shock at the sight of me. As beautiful as ever. He long, flowing, golden tabby fur lay perfectly around her, in my eyes. Her emerald pools perfectly matched my own orbs. The scarred ear tip she'd told me had come from a rabbit's bite when she was a Warrior apprentice.
My claws unsheathed.

I gasped as he stood there. Same long black fur, jet black, like the night. His eyes...the color of perfection. A beautiful emerald that made my own look like a plain green leaf. He couldn't be here....he and Bella had died...regardless, Bella was ripping at Tigerfang, and my love leapt at me.

My teeth sank into her shoulder. You don't have to be a skilled fighter to kill, and the anger of betrayal in my eyes said it all. I snapped at her throat, and she in turn ripped at me. This was a battle never meant to happen-there was no winner. I gave a vicious jerk, and she fell to the ground before me, head twisted in an odd position. Jerking had caused her to rip away at my windpipe, and I fell beside her.
I felt my life ebbing away. As I closed my eyes to welcome the darkness, I caught a familiar wiff.
Was Suncloud smelling of...parsley? Did she...no, she couldn't have been...two moons ago, that would've been plenty of time! Suncloud, she-!

One moon had passed. I carried a package of rotten hotdogs to camp.I and Bella fit in nicely. Shred nudged me. "Hey. Nice pick." I smiled and nodded my thanks. He and his brother had been especially welcoming to I and Bella, probably because they knew lose like we did. Oh, well. SpikeClan was preparing for an attack. I needed to be ready. My claws slid out at the thought. There was one yellow pelt that would feel my claws.

Sunkit slumped in the nursery, eyes darting around, she was just the same as every other kit, and she didn't like it. If i could be anything, i would be like her. she whispered, watching a group of kits gather around Greyshade, an elder that was wowing them with amazing sparks generating from her paws. with a sigh, Sunkit longed for attention. she carefully looked around, but all the cats were watching Greyshade. she quickly padded towards the lake curiously.

Sunkit stopped when she came to the lake. Something was different about it... It's once dark waters were now glistening and rippling like never before. She began to wander towards the cool glistening water when she placed a paw in the water. she jumped back in shock! Her paw never sunk... She could stand on water? she slowly padded towards the water again, stretching out her paw and touching the water, it once again didn't sink. She placed her other paw on the water, also not sinking. She squinted her eyes shut and leaped ontop of the water, preparing for impact but it didn't come. She was standing on the water.

Sunkit happily danced upon the water. Starclan had blessed her with a gift! Sunkit watched the water under her paws as it slowly grew to a shade of gold. Uh- Uhh!!! Sunkit yowled, stepping back as she watched a silver fish swim by. Thinking of the fish the golden sparks formed a large fish, swishing and flicking in the sky. Woah she whispered at the golden water dripped on her. Cool she smiled. Sunkit gasped as tens of thousands of small golden fish leaped out of the water, swimming through the air like glowing lanterns.

She wasn't normal anymore.

It didn't take the golden tabby long to find the off-territory den where she and Moon used to meet. An ashen log lay in front of the entrance, providing farther protection. Ash lay scattered, memories from the fire that happened two moons ago. There was no body, so he had escaped. She was glad of the that.
Carefully, she curled into the nest, ready to give birth to her and the loner's kits.

Suncloud lay curled around her three new kits. One was a fluffy gray she-cat. One was a sleek-furred black Tom, that was unusually large like Moon. There was also a gray and silver fluffy tabby she-cat. Suncloud sighed with relief-none of them looked like her.
"What should I name them?" She muttered to herself. "They all look like they take after Moon's family." She licked them softly as they nursed, making squeaking sounds.
She eyed the fluffy gray she-cat and the sleek black tom first. They were squeezed together, as of inseparable. "I'll name you Sootkit and Ashkit," she mewed, "for the soot and ashes that drove us apart." The black tom, Sootkit, squeaked in approval.
The little gray and silver tabby lay a bit away from the others, silent. She was breathing, though. "I'll name you Starkit-after the stars that shone on the night we realized our love." She remained silent as Suncloud gently licked her head.

Suncloud sneaked the kits into the nursery. "Cinderclaw?" She mewed gently. The Medicine cat had arranged with the new queen to raise her 'orphaned' kits.
"What're their names?" Cinderclaw asked as she gently nudged them towards her belly.
"The black tom's Sootkit, the gray she-cat is Ashkit, and the silver and gray tabby is Starkit." Suncloud replied, licking their fur gently.
"I'll take good care of them," Cinderclaw mewed, noticing the loving look in her eyes. "But you have to remember, these kits can't know. You have to keep your distance, Suncloud."
The golden tabby nodded. "Yes, I know..." She shook her head. "Goodbye, little ones. Thank you Cinderclaw."
She left the den without another word.

She had just left when she heard Moonglow's cries as rogues poured into camp.

Goodbye, my kits. I have given the Clan my gift of healing and mentoring, and now give them my last-the gift of new life.

Then the world was as black as Moon's fur.

My claws kneaded against the carpeting as I let out a yawn and flopped onto my back, my younger brother was bound to be born soon, my mother's belly was so full, for having kits, at least. Out of the corner of my eye I saw my mother resting, her stomach small showing that she would have one or two kits, I could also see Alex playing in the yard, he was my older brother, his littermate was my other brother Nick, their pretty much identical twins. I then felt a pawing at my stomach and looked up to see Nick standing over me, I smirked and batted against his face with soft, tiny white paws.

Alex yelped dramatically and fell over, "Izzy, spare me, fearless wild cat! I am no match for such a strong kitty." I chuckled and swept again at his stomach.

"boom, your dead!" I informed and stood tall as if truly victorious, my voice was quite squeaky when I was a young kit. I then decided to venture to his back and suddenly tried biting at his neck

Nick then hissed and bucked me off and as I hit the floor with a thumping sound, he warned, "careful, that's the life vein."

"Life vein?"

"Yes, if it snaps when you bite it I could.. ya know.. die."

'Oh," I shivered in my place, "I'm really sorry!"

Before Nick could reply a voice sounded from behind us, "aw, come on, that's just a myth." It was my father, I smiled at him

"Good thing!" I squealed and then suggested, "let's go outside!" To my older brother, Nick nodded and we soon both disappeared through the cat flap and out into the garden
