Kite

Kite jumped backwards from the sounds and the sudden chill that hit him forcefully. He turned in a complete circle, his ears straining to give any evidence of the whereabouts of this...Creature. And then then the acid hit his shoulder. He gasped and stumbled, wincing. He swallowed the yelp that was clawing the inside of him mouth. Don't make a sound, Kite. He looked up into the trees, expecting to see a pair of eyes staring down, but he saw nothing. So, is this how you want to play it? He stared up into the trees defiantly. Its fine with me if you want to play...Hide-and-seek. He looked back at the other dogs. He would have liked to stay with them, with someone to talk to. Hopefully, the creature that had spat acid on him, would follow, and that would give the others a chance to get away. That is, if they started moving...

Spot

The demon dog felt something bubbling in his throat. Laughter Spot realized. He was delighting himself in the fact that his prey was so feeble and fragile, he could crush its bones in one aimed swipe. But, no. He'd play with it. He loved the way it could never see him coming. Suddenly, he could hold it no longer. He erupted with musical screeches that was his substitute for laughter. Spot pounced down, spreading out his 'wings' landed very lightly on the dog(No piercing it), showering it with drops of acid. Then he leaped back up into the shelter of the trees, hiding again, watching his prey.

Wait Spot thought. I will leave this one and go back to the group of dogs. This one will just be waiting for me to swoop back again, it will drive it mad! He grinned widely and made his way, very silently, to the group. And the next victim is...

Kite

This time Kite could not hold back a pain-filled yelp. It was complete agony. He could feel the acid burning him. He could also smell it. He slid down onto the ground and closed his eyes. "Stupid rabbit..." he muttered angrily, breathless. He groaned and turned his head slightly to look at his back. Great! the voice in his head practically screamed, Covered with scars-to-be. I just want to kill the idiot that did this to me... The voice in his head obviously had a lot more courage that its carrier. Kite let out a tiny growl, "What did I do to deserve this? Someone please, enlighten me." He flattened his ears against his head and slowly eased himself into a seated position. Stabs of pain from the acid wounds rocketed along his body, and his head spun. I won't be moving for a while...

The Catalyst

Hearing Kite yelp very loudly, Catalyst walked to him to see what happened. He heard faintly his growl of 'why do I deserve this'. "None of us deserve this." He muttered. "It is those creatures that do." The bull terrier sniffed Kite at the scorched marks and wrinkled his nose. How on earth did this happen... Lyst thought. He had not smelled fire. Now, the small dog was scared, "I''ll bet they want to make a meal of us."

((Heh, I'm sowwy. *konks Spot in the head*))

Kite

Kite looked at Catalyst, and smiled thinly, "Isn't it obvious they want to eat us?" he sighed and shook his head, "They're just playing with their food. Like cats. Stupid felines." He flicked up one ear, "Its not safe to be sat here any longer, we all need to get moving if we want to stay alive. I think my back is a good enough pointer of what will happen to you if we stay here," he tilted his head on one side and looked at Catalyst, unblinking, "You go and get the others together and keep going until drop. The felines might have given up on you by then,"

The Catalyst

Catalyst held Kite's gaze for a few seconds, before nodding and trotting off away to the other dogs. "We need to go. Now. A demon has nearly burned Kite." He said with slight authority. "There's no time to waste. They might as well be about to pounce on us right now."

Spot

Spot blinked as he listened to a small dog speak of going. He was once a dog, so he still understands dog speak. Oh you are going, all right He smirked. Into my stomach. The demon crept down and hid behind a bush, keeping as low as a snake. Now run. He growled. Spot sprang out of his hiding place, snarling and dripping with acid. He screeched and looked at the dogs with a gleam of amusement in his eyes. He looked at a little black one and swiped a paw at it, missing by a hair's width. Spot curled his lips and revealed rows upon rows of gleaming teeth.

Kite

Kite looked around the trees in amusement. The pain was starting to ebb away out of his back, but it was still there. He listened as Catalyst explained the the other dogs and nodded his head in silent agreement. Then he heard the screams from the demon and growled loudly under his breath. He pulled himself onto all his paws and ignoring the searing pain it caused, moved quickly towards the other dogs. "You stupid feline!" he heard himself roar, "Have you got a problem?" he caught sight of a creature who's shape was definitely canine and stopped, panting. He glared at the demon and bared his teeth, shifting his weight from one side of this body to the other. As he watched the acid dripping from the demon, he knew this was the one that had hurt him, and he smiled.

Spot

Spot was just about to pounce when he heard the dog he'd been tormenting earlier. His lips uncurled and covered his teeth again as he smiled back at it. He was sure this dog was still scared of him, despite its efforts to smile. Spot bounded towards it with two long strides, until he was face to face with it. His tail was about to swipe at this stupid canine, calling him a cat? Fweh. It definitely deserved to die.
