You spot two bottlenose dolphins playing in the water. Suddenly, they swim over to you with a few cheerful chirps and whistles.
"Hello there!" the first one says "My name is Lanikai, but you may call me simply Lani. This here his my brother, Kainalu." The second dolphin bobs his head in agreement. "Yes, as my sister said I am Kainalu, but most just call me Kai. Our nicknames are easier to remember than our full names."

Age, gender, etc.
The dolphins give you a weird look, before the second dolphin speaks. "Well, dolphin years are very different from human years. We are both equivalent to the age to a 12 year old human. But who cares about age? The point of living here is to have fun!" Kainalu chirps, and Lanikai splashes her tail in playful agreement. "As for our genders, we have already established that I am a male and Lani is female." Lanikai nods, before she speaks. "We are twins, in case you hadn't noticed. Twins are very rare in the dolphin world, but we are a rare case!"

Personality
After a quick discussion, the dolphins decide to each share the other's personality."Lani is the most cheerful person you will ever meet. She is optimistic, enthusiastic, friendly, outgoing, and very social. She is charming and imaginative, and is very creative. She is always inventing new games for the pod to play, and likes to do tricks. She will surely put a smile on your face." Kai tells you about his sister, and then Lani swims up next to him to speak. "Kai is a lot like me, he is friendly and playful, and also social. He is extremely helpful, always looking out for others. He is creative, but doesn't focus on creative stuff as much as I do. He loves to travel to new places, and doesn't like staying in one place for too long. He is an explorer, always looking for and at intriguing new things."
