in large, loopy handwriting. As you put it down, you notice a lump in the envelope. As you pull it out, you realize its a golden necklace with a small pink gemstone on the end.

I wasn't going to tell you. I wasn't going to talk to you. But it's very hard to avoid someone when every time you think of not having them in your life, you break into a million pieces.
The letter is typed out formally on a cream piece of card and has a large rip through the middle which has been badly stuck back together with tape. It has a detailed pen sketch of a campfire on the back, painted with bright water colours.
