I'm also wondering if the gender of the guardians was randomly chosen, or if there's a reason behind the first being a female, the second being a "he" and the third outcome so far being a female as well.

Interesting, though, how the story said the leaves turned "as gold as her eyes." I mean, there is a small patch of gold, but I would still call this the "red-eyed" foal.
Or is this just red changing to gold?

As for ExDrem00's theory, it sounds pretty cool but I doubt it because there are more outcomes . . . but Lilian did say that we should stop focusing on a theme for all of them.

Yes she does!! Everytime I read another idea I am like "oh yeah, that would be amazing!!" I am just so confuddled and bemused right now, I think I will just hole up somewhere and wait...right, who am I kidding!!!

Lillian, I am always amazed by your beautiful horses and ponies you provide us! If I had better fodder at the moment I would horde this months outcomes so much! *cough* recently lost most of her good fodder to get July Lioness *cough* I've gotten every horse so far but missed the 2nd pony outcome! *le sigh* Hopefully I will find the beauty easily.
Also missing today's dog outcome and yesterday's cocoon outcome, looks like this month isn't going super well for outcomes thus far, though at least the 2nd gens and horses seem to like me this month. *knocks on wood*

I hadn't thought about that. I just figured they were given genders because when specifying them as individuals it would be strange to call them "it."

Nope, there's only day 2 and 4 which are both grown and day 6 which is still cocooned.
