I set my phone back down and looked at Alice. " If i had one, than yes. You and i both know i dont have a boyfriend, and i probably wont for the next..uhm.. i dont know.. eternity." I tell her.

"I want to hold on to all of the people I lost, I want to keep them with me. we will never part."

" nice to meet you Cat," I say, smiling, before finishing off my banana. I looked at the girl's breakfast. for some reason, though this thought didn't hit me often, I thought I should eat more. I usually ate something small, like a banana or something within reach that wasn't like a bowl of cereal or something. I wasn't sure if it was healthy or not but seeing the girl's breakfast made me question it more than I liked. " why would you want a boyfriend anyways?" I ask, listening to their conversation.

Cat:
" I dont." I said, more rudely than i wanted. " Thats okay though, even if i did, nobody would even want me." I shrugged and grabbed myself a glass of water.

Alice hoped on the counter and listened quietly to their conversations. She didn't really want to talk about that stuff. She would never really admit it but she was insecure about things like that. She poured herself a cup of water and looked from Cat to Angel, her eyebrows raised.

Cat:
"But whatever." I looked at Alice, and sighed. " So, sparring later?"

" now that part I disagree with." I tell her, shaking my head " I just meant that dating seems like a hassle. at least, right now it does. but that doesn't mean someone won't want you. I mean, just from what I've gather from the conversation and the little of getting to know you, your sweet, pretty, and you have an open mind. you might protect yourself and guard yourself and seem indifferent to things, but that's because you want only certain people, people who really care and who you really care about, to know what really lies beneath." I shrug " correct me if I'm wrong, but that's just what I see. it's not that no one will want you, it's more that you have to find the one that matches. which is hard, especially in this day and age and in our line of work."

Cat:
Did he just- did he compliment me?! Its not often i get complimented, or people talk good about me. " Thanks..I guess." I smiled than wondered, was it really that easy to see through me?!

Alice grinned. "I think Cat has a crushhh" she teased. She looked over at Angel. "But that was sweet" she said with a soft smile.

I smile, shrugging. I didn't know what else to say or do. I didnt' usually talk for a reason. and a lot of people usually didn't always like what I had to say " well you guys have fun sparring. I'll get my practice in later."

"You can come with us if you want" Alice offered and put her cup in the sink.
