Zayden pointed down where he had cleared some of the snow, revealing the blood. "Dried blood. We know whose it is, but it's still there. I don't think anyone found it yet." he said, shrugging. Even if it was kind of useless considering they knew who it belonged to, maybe there was some evidence near it that hadn't been covered up.

"Huh..." Jayden mumbled, growing closer to the dried spot he was referring to. "Ya think Carter and his men would have found it..." He ran a gloved hand through it. Hendrix was right, it was dried. And he knew exactly who it came from, as much as he didn't want to think about it. With a lip purse, he returned to his feet and placed his hands on his hips again. "Hm...maybe we can follow where the trail leads?"

Zayden shrugged, looking over at Jayden, his hands shoved in his pockets. "If you think it'll help. Who knows, maybe he left something behind. I have a feeling he let this happen on purpose, or else he would have tried to cover it with..something." he deducted.

With a smirk, Norman nodded. "Alright. You're probably right, though it never hurts to check. You want to?" He asked, motioning over to the field. "While I help Blake, I mean? Or, to save me painful suffering, I can go search, while you stay here with Carter."

Zayden turned slightly to look at the person in question, shrugging. "I'll go help Carter if you want to do that," he suggested. Not really because he wanted to save Norman(he liked Norman and would have done about anything else for him all that crap, but it was hardly worth it to get yelled at by Blake,) but more so because he didn't really want to know what he might find if he followed the blood.

Glancing back at Blake, Norman nodded and looked back at his former partner, smiling. "Alright. If you're sure." He commented, already trekking through the bushes. "I see where you're...alright, I'll be back in a few seconds. And if I get back, and you both kill each other, I was never here. But I'll testify against Blake any day," he sneered with a shrug. "It's your funeral, kid. Have fun!"

Zayden snorted, waving goodbye slightly as he turned and walked off towards Blake. He approached him with caution, though since he hadn't said any thing exactly..triggering yet, he was sure the man wouldn't bite his head off. Well, not yet, anyways. He probably would in a couple of seconds, give or take. "Blake, what do you want me to do to help?" he asked.

Blake got off of his knees, standing back up from pawing in the snow on the road. "What?" He questioned, looking around. "I thought you were with Jayden, where is he?" He questioned, staring at Zayden with a blink. "I, uh...I'm just digging on the road looking for things..."

Zayden nodded in the direction Jayden went. "I found something and had him check it out." he said, not really wishing to go into detail until they found out if it was something important or not. He raised his eyebrow. "Okay, great. But what should I do?" he asked.
